Meet Chestnut
My name is Chestnut.
I flew all the way from China to Canada with Nicole. Yes — I’m Chinese.
Jerried chose me because when he first saw me at the pet store, he thought I ran like a little dog.
Personally, I don’t like him very much. When he gets too close, I scratch his head.
(This might explain why he doesn’t have much hair on top anymore.)
I also once bit a very expensive pair of work pants he wore to the clinic.
Most of the time, I lie on the couch with Nicole and watch Korean romantic TV dramas together.
I have a bad temper. When I’m unhappy, I may even pee on Nicole — something warm and very intentional.
But I love her.
Every morning, the first thing I do is go downstairs by myself to the basement floor drain to pee.
My pee is extremely effective at keeping insects and mice away.
My stomach isn’t great, and honestly, that’s Jerried’s fault.
He once fed me way too many wedding candies from their marriage.
Still, to be fair, he does give me massages quite often.
The “C” in JCJ is my name.
