Carolina is originally from Argentina. She started her career in 2011 after obtaining a Bachelor in Physical Education and working as a personal trainer with clients of different backgrounds and ages. She has been immersed in sports from a young age and was a handball player. All that experience led her to pursue a Bachelor in Kinesiology and Physical Therapy.
As a registered physio Carolina enjoys treating a variety of patients, from recreational athletes and weekend warriors to seniors. She combines hands-on manual therapy with exercise prescription. She takes the time to listen to you and understand your needs to design a plan that helps you to recover and meet your goals. She also has experience working with neurological patients and worked in hospital settings during her clinical placements.
Carolina is fascinated by understanding human movement, how tissues can recover from injuries and adapt to improve their function.
She considers herself a lifelong learner. Therefore, she enjoys taking courses and improving her skills. She completed further education in Functional Movement Systems and Soft Tissue Release Therapy.
Carolina speaks fluent English, Spanish and has conversational Portuguese. In her spare time, you can find Carolina spending time with friends, playing soccer, hiking, cycling or at the gym lifting weights.
