#ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS Carly is a Registered Social Worker through the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW) with over fourteen years of counselling experience. Currently working as a mental health therapist, Carly has provided support to individuals in various locations across Canada, including Manitoba, British Columbia, Nunavut, and Alberta. Throughout her career, Carly has served in diverse roles such as women’s counsellor, community-based victim services provider, urgent response psychiatric assessor, and addictions counsellor. Her extensive experience has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of the complexities individuals face in their mental health journeys. Carly specializes in grief and loss, recognizing these experiences as universal and deeply impactful. Additionally, she is passionate about trauma therapy, dedicated to helping individuals overcome past traumas and live life to their fullest potential, free from limitations associated with their past. With a focus on action-oriented and person-centered therapy, Carly values meaningful connection and meeting clients where they are in their stage of change and healing journey. She approaches her work with compassion, understanding, non-judgment, curiosity, empathy, and genuine care, always showing unconditional positive regard for individuals' health and well-being.
