Brittany O'Brien RMT Brittany not only has a passion for massage therapy, but a passion for people. She loves to laugh, and enjoy her life, and help others do the same. She enjoys seeing people relaxed and comfortable, while striving to achieve their treatment and healthcare goals. She was a provincially ranked athlete in soccer and spring board diving, and played competitive volleyball and Track & Field – leading to her fair share of injuries herself. She understands the human body and the extreme limits we will push ourselves, and also the importance of healing and self care. These experiences as an athlete, and from her dedicated interest in anatomy combined with her genuine passion to help, and heal others is what lead her to Massage Therapy. Brittany is a local girl, raised in Appleton. She moved to Ottawa for her studies where she attended Everest College and graduated with honors in the advanced “ fast- track” Registered Massage Therapy program in 2011, and has been an active member of CMTO and RMTAO since 2012. She currently resides in Carleton Place, where she is close to her amazing family. Brittany has vast knowledge and experience in many fields such as : Deep Tissue, Trigger point therapy, Sports Massage, Chronic Injuries, relaxation and MVA. She has taken specific courses and advanced training on pregnancy massage ( pre and post natal), mastectomy , and pelvic health massage techniques. She is also a certified Labor Support and Delivery coach. She has a passion for helping and guiding women along their journey. Alleviating acute or chronic pain, injury or stress that may come from trauma, childbirth, and everyday life is something that is very important to her. Making her clients feel as comfortable as possible, and knowing they are in safe environment dealing with such personal issues is something Brittany strives to achieve. She has a 3 yr old daughter herself , and wants to give a relaxing and therapeutic to all her clients .
