About Briana
Briana was very active growing up, playing school sports, track and field and competing in ringette for over 20 years! She remains committed to being active and passionate about wellness. She graduated from McKay Massage & Hydrotherapy in December 2005 and became a member of MTAS in 2006. You will find that she is always building her knowledge at training seminars, reading books and learning through personal experience.. always striving to best serve her clientele!
In 2012, Briana started training in the John F Barnes' Approach to Myofascial Release®️ (MFR). The approach made so much sense to her. It resolved her own persistent pain and changed her practice forever. She now exclusively offers Myofascial Release treatments.

MFR is a safe and effective hands-on technique that involves applying gentle but firm sustained pressure into the Myofascial connective tissue restrictions created by trauma, inflammatory responses and/or surgical procedures.
Each MFR Treatment session is performed directly on skin without oils or creams. This enables the therapist to accurately detect fascial restrictions and apply the appropriate amount of sustained pressure to facilitate release of the fascia. It is optional to bring to your appointments a two piece bathing suit, or sports bra and gym shorts. It is REQUIRED to arrive with clean, lotion free skin.
