Bethanie is a first-year Bachelor of Arts student majoring in Psychology at the University of Alberta, where she is cultivating a strong academic foundation in human development, cognition, mental health, and research methods. Alongside her studies, Bethanie works as a receptionist at a senior home, where she manages front-desk operations, assists residents and their families, and contributes to a supportive and organized environment. Her role has strengthened her interpersonal communication skills, professionalism, and ability to navigate sensitive situations with empathy and respect. Previously, she volunteered with the Food Bank, gaining hands-on experience in community outreach, teamwork, and service delivery to individuals facing food insecurity.
