About Anne

Anne Punkkinen is a Nurse Practitioner who has been practicing since 2015. She strongly believes in a holistic approach to health care including nutraceuticals, lifestyle changes, environment and pharmaceuticals when needed. Her overall approach is to consider the client’s health in a way that is compassionate. Informed choice and appropriate use of medications and technologies are philosophies that she has believed in since her former career as a Midwife in Ontario. Throughout her career, she has focused on health promotion and prevention of illness. The last few years, since the pandemic, Anne has been especially busy and focusing her energies on learning about complex chronic illnesses, including autoimmune and long COVID. Anne is the mother of four children, and 3 labrador retrievers. When she’s not working, she enjoys being outdoors, taking saunas, watching her son play hockey, and spending time with her family.
