Born and raised in Vernon, BC, Amanda has always aligned with the Okanagan lifestyle. Amanda earned her Bachelor of Human Kinetics from UBCO, and after working in the field of Kinesiology for two years, her passion for movement and rehabilitation led her to pursue a Master of Physical Therapy at UBC Vancouver.
As a Physiotherapist, Amanda is committed to continuous learning and providing the highest level of care. She holds certifications in Dry Needling (IMS) and Vestibular Rehabilitation, allowing her to effectively treat vertigo and balance-related conditions. Her private practice experience includes brain injury rehabilitation, and she recently served as an instructor at the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy. In both her treatments and instruction, Amanda delivers evidence-based care, helping her clients achieve their health and movement goals.
Beyond the clinic, you’ll likely catch Amanda spending time on the trails of Kal Park or in the great outdoors with her dog, Todd. She is an avid trail runner, having completed numerous marathons and most recently accomplishing a 100-mile ultramarathon in Lethbridge, AB in September 2024. Amanda is passionate about helping runners and trail users optimize their performance, prevent injuries and train effectively. She understands firsthand the importance of staying healthy and injury-free and incorporates manual therapy and exercise prescription to help her clients thrive, allowing them to take advantage of all that the Okanagan has to offer!
