“I have been going to Jenna for 3 years. She is amazing at what she does! She is the leader in my pain management. Jenna kept me pain free without medication before neck surgery and continues to do so with monthly appointments.”

“After not being helped by a different physiotherapist in another clinic, seeing Riley for my very painful condition has made all the difference. He is very knowledgeable and highly skilled at assessment and treatment. I'm well on my way to recovering from this injury while also being directed on how to mitigate the likelihood of it flaring up again in the future.”Read moreShow less

“I was excited to find the multi-purpose services offered at VAH and had previously been there 3 times with great care. After recently being involved in an auto accident, I was looking forward to being assessed for whiplash-related injuries affecting different areas of my body. Unfortunately, I received a message stating that the massage therapist would not take me on as a client after hearing I was requesting lighter pressure rather than firm pressure, since I did not yet know the full extent of my injuries. I was surprised and disappointed by this response. In a professional environment, I would expect therapists to be trained to adapt to different situations, pressure levels, injuries, ages, and client needs. That adaptability is part of their education and professional care. What upset me most was that my situation was never properly discussed or assessed before I was declined. I explained to the office manager/owner that assumptions should not be made without first evaluating the client in person. Every injury and body is different, and treatment should be adapted accordingly. This experience left me feeling extremely deflated, unsupported, honestly disappointed, and so frustrated this could even happen. It felt unprofessional to refuse care without even offering an assessment or consultation first. I would never treat a client or customer that way myself. What makes this even more unfortunate is that I know there are good people working there who likely do adapt their treatments based on a client’s injury and comfort level, whether that means light, medium, or firm pressure. Sadly, this particular experience has left a very sour taste in my mouth, and I will not be returning. I truly hope this does not happen to anyone else, especially someone already dealing with the stress and pain of recovering from an accident.”Read moreShow less

“I have been seeing Jena Beckett for about six weeks. She spends an uninterrupted half hour with me, without juggling multiple patients at a time, which I really appreciate. She has created a physio routine for me that is addressing some missing pieces, and I am really seeing progress in a number of areas. I would highly recommend her. She is skilled, personable, makes rehab feel do-able, and is genuinely interested in helping you move forward.”Read moreShow less

“Jenna is great. I have had numerous treatments from Jenna, she is always professional, caring and a pleasure to talk to. Her treatments have virtually eliminated my muscle cramps. Dry needling hurts so good.”

“I highly recommend Dr. Stephanie! Our whole family sees her, and she is incredibly knowledgeable. You always leave her office feeling so much better than when you arrived. I especially appreciate that she uses a variety of techniques—like cupping and active release—so it’s much more than just a quick adjustment. She takes a thoughtful, well-rounded approach to care. She’s also fantastic with children and makes their visits feel comfortable and completely non-intimidating.”Read moreShow less

“Mykha is amazing! Very informative, polite and professional. She has a very calm demeanour and checks in to make sure you are comfortable and encourages you to speak up if anything makes you uncomfortable. 💯 recommend for lighter massage work but targets mobility issues with Fibromyalgia. **** I’m editing my review a few days later. **** I have been suffering with back pain since I was 22 and have been on disability with Fibromyalgia for almost 10 years. I have been dealing with rib pain on one side of my body for six months, pain in my neck where it’s painful to hold my head up, my shoulders which have been causing weakness in my arms, and a huge knot on the middle left side of my back for well over a year. I also started experiencing a whooshing and pulsing in my right ear that was deafening in silence. I’ve gone to a chiropractor 4 times and he helped as much as he could but my back was too tight or hyper mobile to get the problem area. Mykha only had time to do so much in the hour we had, focusing on shoulders, neck and upper middle back. I was a bit skeptical that the Fascia treatment would work because usually I have to use massage tools/hooks and really dig in deep and that’s not what Mykha specializes in. The next morning I was surprised at how sore and stiff my body felt, and I became aware that the wooshing and pulsing in my ear was gone and went to my chiropractor appointment. He wasn’t able to crack my neck or back much at all, but he finally was able to get some very tiny and slight cracks from the ribs that have been out for six months. I cried with relief when I got home. I was thinking about how l have been unsure since the summer whether or not I could afford massage therapy and if it would even work. The following afternoon I became aware that I have almost full range of motion when rotating my torso, and in yoga poses I can almost do full stretches to the side without any stiffness or pain in my ribs. I am extremely grateful for this experience. It is literally life changing, and I will forever be amazed at how skilled in her craft she is.”Read moreShow less

“Riley and the staff at VAH have been instrumental in my recovery after cancer surgery and treatments. They are now my go to for any sports injury. It's because of people like them that I am able to be as active as I am in my 60s and loving life. Many thanks.”
