About Amanda

Amanda is a dedicated and experienced physiotherapist with a strong academic foundation and a passion for helping individuals achieve their health and movement goals. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from York University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health Sciences, demonstrating exceptional academic achievement. She then earned her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto, where she was recognized with both the Dr. Barnett and Beverly Giblon award for Excellence in Physical Therapy and the CIHR Health Professional Student Research Award. Committed to providing comprehensive, evidence-based care, Amanda has continued to pursue extensive post-graduate training and certifications. She is certified in Acupuncture and Dry Needling and is a certified Nordic Pole Walking Instructor. She has also completed advanced training in Temporomandibular Disorder (TMD/TMJ) management, NeuroKinetic Therapy (NKT), BSN Leukotape-K Taping, Manual Therapy and Craniosacral Therapy. Drawing on her diverse clinical training and strong understanding of human movement, Amanda develops individualized treatment plans to address the root causes of pain and dysfunction, while making sure patients feel heard, supported and confident, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery. She works to restore function and improve performance with the goal of having her patients return to the activities they enjoy.
