About Alison

Alison first recognized the benefits of Pilates during her second pregnancy in 2001. Whilst practicing Pilates herself she became a certified fitness and exercise to music instructor. Two years later, she qualified as a certified Pilates instructor with The Pilates Institute in London UK. As a competitive and active person, involved in Duathlons and Triathlons, Alison has a passion to teach clients the benefits of combining Pilates with sports and everyday activities to improve performance, quality of life and prevention of injury. Alison and her family moved to Vancouver in 2010 where she gained the opportunity to study Human Kinetics at Capilano University. She is now very excited to combine her knowledge with rehabilitation and fitness Pilates, at the very unique and dynamic environment at Trimetrics. Alison is passionate about helping others in their journey to experiencing the benefits of Pilates and is looks forward to working with all her clients with energy and passion. She lives a very active lifestyle enjoying running, biking, swimming, snowboarding, kayaking and basically anything outdoors.
