About Alicia

Hi, I’m Alicia (Keyu) Chen. Welcome, and thank you for considering taking this step toward greater well-being. Life can bring many challenges, and perhaps you’re navigating feelings of stress, anxiety, grief, or even a sense of being stuck or disconnected. These experiences can be isolating, but I want you to know that you don’t have to face them alone. In our sessions, I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where we can explore these emotions together, working to bring about clarity, healing, and renewed confidence. My approach is gentle and collaborative, and I adapt our time together to fit your unique needs. Whether you’re seeking practical ways to manage anxiety, support through difficult life transitions, or simply a space to reflect, I’m here to guide you in a way that feels right for you. For those who find comfort in speaking their first language, I also offer therapy in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. A bit about me: I’m an immigrant with an East Asian background, and my own journey has brought me through many of life’s ups and downs. I know what it’s like to experience anxiety, feelings of separation, and times of loneliness, especially when adjusting to a new country and culture. These experiences inspire my work, particularly my desire to support those who, like me, come from overseas and may be navigating the unique challenges of adapting to a new place while carrying the strength of where they come from. Outside of my work, I try to keep life full of things that bring me joy. I’m a big fan of jazz and math rock, and I’m always up for a good BBQ with friends. My home wouldn’t feel complete without my black cat, who keeps me company and adds some extra happiness to my days. I genuinely love where I am in life right now, and it’s a joy to help others find that kind of peace, too. In our time together, I aim to create a space that’s safe and open—a place where you can be yourself, explore what matters to you, and find ways to feel grounded and supported. If you’re ready to start or even just considering therapy, reach out, and let’s explore together how I can support you on this journey toward feeling more grounded and empowered.
