Sebastian graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy, where he gained hands-on experience treating a variety of conditions, including sports injuries, chronic pain, and neurological concerns. He also completed two semesters with UBC varsity athletics, where he worked with athletes across a wide range of sports and competitive levels, including national and Olympic-level competitors.
Sebastian believes that effective treatment is a collaborative process. He combines hands-on techniques such as trigger point therapy, pin and stretch, and myofascial release with clear education and realistic homecare to help patients move with greater confidence and feel supported in their long-term goals.
Before becoming an RMT, Sebastian worked in a variety of physically demanding fields and spent over a decade training in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. He has also completed the occasional marathon. These experiences have given him a strong appreciation for the demands placed on the body, the importance of recovery, and the role that self-care and balance play in staying active and resilient.
Outside of the clinic, Sebastian enjoys rock-climbing, playing chess, and spending time with his family. He is grateful to have found a career that allows him to support others through hands-on care, education, and movement.
