About Jessie

#ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS Jessie is a devoted and empathetic psychologist dedicated to guiding individuals on their journey toward a more enriching and harmonious life. She firmly believes that genuine transformation emerges from embracing even the most formidable experiences that shape an individual. Jessie aspires to build a therapeutic alliance on trust, authentic understanding, empathic connection, collaboration, and profound care. These principles are the foundation where she assists clients in achieving personal and lifelong goals. In collaboration with the client, Jessie works to tailor the treatment plan using integrative methods to achieve the clients’ goals. Her objective is to empower clients, fostering self- reflection, self-awareness, and the cultivation of self acceptance within a judgment-free space. Jessie actively encourages exploration to address limiting beliefs, unproductive needs, or behaviours affecting mental and emotional well-being. Ultimately, she supports clients in harnessing their strengths, acquiring skills to navigate emotions, build resilience, and form meaningful connections over time. Specializing in a comprehensive range of mental health challenges, Jessie employs an integrative approach that incorporates modalities such as cognitive-behavioural (CBT), person-centered, Acceptance and Commitment (ACT), Solution-Focused (SFT), and Dialectical Behaviour (DBT) therapies. She seamlessly integrates interventions from mindfulness, trauma-informed, and strength-based approaches into her practice, ensuring a holistic and personalized therapeutic experience. Jessie provides individual therapy to Adults and Seniors. She works with individuals of all genders, identities, and cultural/spiritual backgrounds. Jessie serves those experiencing issues related to anxiety, depression, grief/loss, trauma & PTSD, domestic violence, stress & burnout, self-esteem, life transitions, borderline personality disorder (BPD), and bipolar disorder.
