About Jennifer

When words feel hard to find, emotions feel overwhelming, or traditional talk therapy doesn’t quite fit, art can offer another way forward. Many children, youth, and adults come to therapy feeling stuck, misunderstood, or unsure how to express what’s happening inside. Art therapy can create space to explore thoughts and feelings gently and safely at your own pace. I offer a warm, flexible, and creative therapeutic space where you can express yourself in ways that feel natural and supportive. As a Professional Art Therapist and Registered Psychotherapist, I believe everyone deserves an approach to therapy that fits who they are. Art can be a powerful and accessible form of emotional expression, especially for those who are neurodivergent, living with chronic illness, navigating trauma, or feeling disconnected from their emotions. Together, we’ll explore what feels right for you—whether that includes artmaking, conversation, or a blend of both. My work is shaped by lived experience, compassion, and deep respect for each person’s story. As a neurodivergent individual, I have personally used art as a way to process trauma and emotional challenges. This lived experience, along with years of work as an educator and community builder, informs my strengths-based, neuro-affirming approach. I work through an intersectional lens and place great importance on helping you feel safe, seen, and accepted for all aspects of who you are. I offer both art therapy and psychotherapy, always guided by your needs, comfort, and goals. About Jen: Jen is a Professional Art Therapist and Registered Psychotherapist.
