About Grace

Grace holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from the University of Alberta. She is passionate about using her education and experience to support individuals and contribute to more accessible and inclusive mental health care. Through her academic studies and professional experiences, Grace has developed a strong interest in cultural studies and the ways in which language, upbringing, and cultural experiences can shape thoughts, behaviours, and overall well-being. She is particularly interested in immigration studies and the intersection of culture and mental health. Grace is passionate about reducing mental health stigma and shame within the Caribbean community and contributing to greater awareness, understanding, and access to mental health support for underserved and underrepresented communities. Her long-term goal is to pursue a career as a mental health professional, with a focus on creating culturally responsive care and helping individuals feel seen, understood, and supported.
