Dr. Reid is a Sports Medicine Specialist and Family Physician who is passionate about helping athletes and active individuals recover from injury, optimize performance, and safely return to the activities they love. She provides evidence-based care for acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries, combining her expertise in sports medicine with a collaborative, patient-centred approach to treatment.
###Qualifications & Experience
- Fellowship in Sports and Exercise Medicine at Western University.
- Completed her Family Medicine Residency at McMaster University.
- Earned her medical degree from the National University of Ireland, Galway.
- Provides assessment and management of sports injuries, concussion, overuse injuries, fracture care, and exercise-related medical conditions.
- Experienced in caring for athletes of all ages and levels, from recreational participants to elite competitors.
- Team Physician for the Toronto Rock.
- Team Physician for the Oakville Rock.
- Medical staff for the 2025 FIBA U16 Women's AmeriCup.
- Medical staff for the 2026 FIBA U17 Women's Basketball World Cup.
- During her Sports Medicine Fellowship, provided medical coverage for varsity athletics including soccer, hockey, and wrestling, as well as community sporting events such as provincial gymnastics championships and half-marathons.
###Outside the Clinic
When she's not caring for patients, Dr. Reid enjoys playing and watching soccer, reading, baking, and travelling. One of her favourite life experiences was attending medical school in Galway, Ireland, where she enjoyed the vibrant culture and beautiful coastal scenery.
