About Jillian

Dr. Jillian Edgar grew up in Kawartha Lakes where she has been growing her chiropractic practice. She did her undergraduate degree at the University of Guelph in Human Kinetics and her Chiropractic Degree at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Dr. Jill’s passion for her community and providing efficient and professional care drives her every day to continue learning. She greets all her patients with a smile and wants to hear your story. She brings new and creative assessment and treatment protocols to each of her patients. She will look at the area of discomfort and the surrounding areas to make sure she is attacking both function and discomfort from all sides. She creates flexible treatment plans that she will design together with your help to make sure you get better as soon as possible. She uses Diversified and Impulse Adjustments, Mobilizations (a less aggressive alternative to adjustments), Myofascial Release Technique for tight musculature, Functional Integrated Acupuncture, Exercise Prescription, GLA:D osteoarthritis exercise program, GROWCo postnatal rehab and Webster Technique for pregnancy care in her treatment plans. Dr. Jill enjoys educating patients on health and wellness and encourages questions always! Dr. Jill has a special interest in headaches, sciatic nerve pain, pregnancy, athletes, osteoarthritis and office workers. When Dr. Jill isn’t at work you can find her walking her dog Phoebe, playing with her son Charlie, watching the Blue Jays game or enjoying a great book.
