About Helen

Helen is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with over 19 years of clinical experience in the field of therapeutic interventions. She earned her Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology from Adler University in 2024. Her area of focus has been in inclusive leadership, social justice in the workplace, and positive culture shift. She also received her Master's in Counselling and Education from Western Washington University, and her Bachelor's in Psychology and English Literature from the University of California - Irvine. Her areas of clinical expertise include psychosis recovery, anxiety and depression, PTSD healing, suicide intervention, trauma-informed practice, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused interventions. She is well-versed and passionate in providing therapeutic services to children, youth, families, groups, women, BIPOC, and individuals recovering from abuse, trauma, and violence. Her lens of focus is centralized around strengths-based social justice and equitable inclusivity. Helen has had extensive experience working in multiple settings, including hospitals and healthcare, community non-profit, and public schools. She enjoys working alongside clients to re-discover their voice, strengths, and resilience.
