About Anna
With an understanding that each client comes with their own unique stories and experiences, I believe in using an integrative approach to counselling, meaning I will adapt my set of clinical skills to match my clients' specific needs and preferences. I am passionate about working collaboratively with clients and ensuring that I am always using the most current evidence-based approaches. I have worked with diverse clients presenting concerns, including acute, chronic, and complex trauma, depression and anxiety, dissociation, substance use, ADHD, concussions, relationship issues, life transitions and more. I have previously worked as a Neurofeedback technician and yoga instructor, which has informed the way I incorporate my knowledge of neuroscience and body-based techniques into counselling sessions. My goal is to create a space that feels inviting, safe, and wholeheartedly non-judgmental, so that my clients are able to express themselves and explore life’s challenges in an authentic way.
