Amy has been a social worker for 27 years, and she knows the weight of infertility firsthand. Her three children all came after years of failed fertility treatments, and along the way, she carried the guilt and shame that so many people feel when their journey doesn't go the way they hoped. She also knows what it means to have real support carry you through it, and that's what she offers every client who sits down with her.
Amy believes we should be able to talk about mental health as openly as we talk about physical health. She's spent years building that kind of space for people, including within the trans community, where she supports clients through name and gender marker changes and everything that comes with that, emotionally and otherwise. For Amy, every path to parenthood, and every version of who you are, deserves support.

Amy draws from CBT and EFT, and describes herself as client-centered, solution-focused, compassionate, and collaborative. She adapts her approach to each client, tuning into what makes them feel most supported.

Amy’s aim is to make her clients feel relaxed, supported, validated, safe, and empowered. She's driven by helping others, watching change happen, and seeing families grow. Using her experience, skill and understanding to empower people is what fulfills her.

- Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist (RSW)
- Bachelor of Social Work, University of Western Ontario
- Certified in CBT, EFT, and Anti-Oppressive Therapy
