Upon booking, you are subject to our cancellation policy. Guests and clients who do not not cancel their appointments prior to the 24 hour window will be subject to a 100% cancellation fee. Our cancellation policy is in place to support the time of our practitioners who rely on their clients showing up and having time to fill canceled appointment spots. We also want to ensure everyone has a chance to enjoy the Thermal Circuit and Infrared Saunas. Nobody likes fees, but we don’t want anyone to miss out on the opportunity to come enjoy the facility.

We’re located at 90 Alderney Drive, in the lower level of the building, facing the harbour.

“Have been coming here since their original location and it used to be my go to spot for massages and sauna treatments, but since the new ownership has begun, it’s gone downhill fast. The final straw was when my husband booked a thermal circuit for mother’s day. When i arrived for my appointment, it was evident they had money grabbed and overbooked the day. I was told they had no lockers available and my options were to leave my belongings in my car (5 blocks away) or rebook (and not that day because they were booked solid). My husband was obviously annoyed his mother’s day gift for me (a spa trip out of the house without the kids) was ruined and called to ask how they intended to make it right. The snarky receptionist hung up on him and further emails flagging their inability to provide space for their bookings and their rude staff went unanswered. Unfortunate to see another local downtown dartmouth business decline. Will be recommending friends and family go elsewhere from now on.”Read moreShow less

“Overall, Nature Folk was pleasant. Staff and facilities were okay, but the Finnish sauna had a temporary malfunction and did not produce steam, which I was not told about beforehand, and both saunas felt not very hot. The regular bath jets are not placed for actual massage use.”Read moreShow less

“We had inquired about the retreats that Nature Folk offers for my sister‘s 60th birthday. We were guided to speak with Breah who is the acupuncturist at the retreat. Her colleague Taylore and the owner of Nature Folk all collaborated and made the most amazing retreat for myself, my sisters and some friends as well. We did the Roots and Resonance Retreat. It was an amazing combination of yoga, breath work sound baths, meditation and acupuncture. An amazing experience! Breah and Taylore went over and above to ensure the experience was exceptional. “The 2-hour circuit was a wonderful and rejuvenating experience. We went during a time when quiet chatting was allowed and the space was still very quiet and peaceful. Lots of areas to sit and relax and enjoy complimentary herbal tea. The lockers lock using a wrist band which is convenient, towels and robes are provided. I’ve also taken the baby and parent yoga class in the studio space and it was a wonderful way to be active and meet other parents.”Read moreShow less

“My girlfriend took me here! It was a wonderful experience. The 2 different types of saunas were so great (wet and dry), the cold tub (honestly could have been a little colder), the hot tub (could have been hotter), I attend a lot of spas like this and they did so many things right. My favorite was the free mud face masks (apply yourself). Highly recommend if you are looking to spend an hour or 2 to kick back and relax. Look forward to returning! “It was my second time here. The first time I did the circuit which was lovely. It’s a bit small for my liming as I enjoy a bit more privacy. But overall I’m looking forward to doing it again. Most recently I had an acupuncture treatment done by Breah. She is so sweet and easy to talk to. She is so very knowledgeable on all of the topics related within acupuncture and treatments.
