Maggie was very pleasing to deal with. She explained what we are going to do, to relieve pain in great detail. She was attentive and I felt very comfortable with her. Looking forward to learning how to manage pain.mentions Maggie Sullivan →

My initial assessment was pleasant, professional, and thorough. I look forward with optimism that treatment from Alison will help me with a long-standing issue that others have tried but were unable to correct.

Allison Dorsey is genuinely one in a million. Her knowledge of the human body and all the wonderful (and sometimes frustrating) ways it works is truly second to none. She is incredibly knowledgable, but also personable with both adults and young people. Allison understands the demands put on highly competitive athletes, and has been an absolute godsend with our daughter throughout her intense gymnastics training. We really can’t say enough about Allison, and feel extremely fortunate to have her in our corner.

I suffer from fibromyalgia and require life-long occasional support. Many physiotherapists claim to understand and support fibro patients, but literally get frustrated with return visits often leaving a patient in a serious flare that can cause permanent mobility issues. I researched and read a lot of physiotherapist bio's on-line before choosing Ashley Button. She does understand chronic pain. She is encouraging, innovative and empathetic. Finally, at the age of 60 I have found the absolute BEST physiotherapist out there. She will get you moving more fluidly!

Professional, comprehensive assessment. Exercises to address my issues were demonstrated and provided by email complete with videos showing how to do them properly. Very good experience!

Owner Laura Lundquist is my go-to physiotherapist and has been for a few decades. Her knowledge of sports' related injuries brought me to her initially and repeatedly throughout my first 20 years as a patient. And, the depth of her knowledge of age-related physical needs and common injuries and ailments help me know I am in great hands. As owner of Zoomers, Laura hand selects her staff and insists on ongoing training and keeping current. I HIGHLY recommend the Zoomers' team for quality, knowledge-based, current and effective physio therapy needs. Janet Porter Dartmouth, NS

I decided to try physiotherapy at Zoomers back in the Fall of 2025 as the reviews were excellent and I liked the location. I've been unfortunate to have suffered another injury which requires extensive physio. I specifically returned here to see Allison. Not only is she supportive and a pleasure to work with, but she truly knows what needs to be done to bring me back to good health and full mobility. She is a true asset to this clinic.

While working out, I lunged to the right, and pulled my left glute. A friend whom witnessed my injury contacted Laura through email. Laura emailed me that night, and squeezed me in the next day for assessment. As I entered zoomers physiotherapy building, I was in considerable pain, limping, favoring my left leg. During her physical assessment and the series of positions and movements she had me do, she diagnosed me with a level one / level two strain / micro tear of my gluteus maximus. After completing some physio, and ultrasound and retested the range of motion, I was already significantly improved. With precise instruction to stretch and exercise, I was diligent in completing them and through hot and cold therapy saw dramatic improvement over the weekend into the next week. A storm canceled our next appointment. Maintaining the exercise regime, I began reintroducing exercise, which is so very important for my physical and mental health. Fighting off being sedentary and forcing myself to move, I saw a little or no restriction on range of motion. Continuing with hot and cold therapy, the stretches and exercises given to me by Laura, by the time I attended my next appointment with Heather, there was a dramatic reversal of impairment by the injury. Since the second appointment I have reengaged exercise on a regular schedule, so so very important for my physical and mental health, and am very grateful! Zoomers Physiotherapy is more than just a great little location, it is staffed with amazingly trained kind and attentive individuals, who waste no time getting you back to your old self! Mobile instead of sedentary! Life changing for me! Make no mistake, they are the best!
