“I highly recommend seeing Jen for EMDR. I’ve had severe fear of needles all my life, and last year I was prescribed a series of eye injections after an eye surgery. I was so nervous about having the injections - I was scared about flinching and moving while it was happening and that leading to issues with my vision. And I was just sick to my stomach every time I would even think about it. I had heard about EMDR being a leading treatment for PTSD and I was very curious about it. So, I decided to see if it could work for my needle phobia and started to see Jen for that reason. At first we did a couple of talk therapy sessions leading up to the EMDR, and then the EMDR on the third session - and on a subsequent session as well. I remember thinking that it was never going to work, and worrying that I wasn’t giving the ‘right’ answers to Jen’s questions during the session. But by the time I reached my car after the visit, I noticed that I was feeling lighter and more relaxed. Since that day, each time the topic of a needle comes up, I no longer get that tightening in my gut and physical feeling of fear all over. Yes, I was curious about EMDR but I was also a huge skeptic, and truly never imagined it would have such an incredible impact. I’ve been through two uneventful eye injections now and am very happy to say that they were just fine. This is something that would have almost certainly been a huge dramatic event for me, and it was just a blip - almost nothing! Jen, thank you for the gift of getter rid of my fear!”Read moreShow less

“I don't have enough good things to say about Jen Rauckman. She is kind, non-judgemental, and has a huge heart. Everything I've brought up with her for the last year has been met with understanding and with a goal on how to tackle the issues at hand. She always gives great advice, gives applicable strategies, and is super flexible (and not to mention I love her no-filter way of talking!). My life has literally changed and I have become a happier person since our first meeting. Thank you x1000 Jen!”Read moreShow less

“Derek has been invaluable for my child's experience of playing AA hockey as a goalie. He is someone that my child can talk to about the mental struggles of this position. Teens don't always want to be vulnerable when talking to their parents, so having someone that my child can trust and openly talk with has been an asset. Knowing that Derek has worked with high level athletes gives us the confidence that his skills will benefit our child too. Being able to book virtual appointments during a busy hockey and school schedule is an excellent service from Virtuous Circle Counselling.”Read moreShow less

“Nicole is absolutely amazing. She provides a great deal of insight and gives practical, realistic and effective tools to implement into daily life, which have really made a difference for me. I have really also appreciated Nicole’s overall empathy, spot-on observations and ability to explain things in a way that makes sense.”Read moreShow less

“I've had the pleasure of working with Tiffany and she has been so helpful and wonderful to talk to. Her judgement-free approach makes our conversations very comfortable and they flow so easily. I was very nervous when I first started, fearing that I wouldn't have anything to say or that I'd have too much to say, but my first experience with her was so positive and felt so natural. I look forward to my sessions with her now and wish I would have started sooner!”Read moreShow less

“Tiffany helped to guide me through, and pull me out of, a really challenging period of anxiety and depression. I was looking for a councilor specialising in CBT, and got that plus much more! She had a great focus on homework which made it feel much more comprehensive than just a weekly/fortnightly session. She helped me to explore and become aware of my ways of thinking + challenging me to change behaviours that made a big difference to my ability to pull through spirals, and put down foundations for a longer term recovery. I really looked forward to our sessions, and always came away with new, positive ways forward. It took time, and effort, but Tiffany's guidance, support and championing of my progress were key to my recovery.”Read moreShow less

“It's a wonderful feeling to have someone knowledgeable, experienced and thoughtful helping me overcome my anxiety and fears. I can't believe I waited so long to get help for something that (over time) has virtually stolen such important daily activities from me. They say the first step is the hardest and I am so happy I reached out to Tiffany. I strongly recommend Tiffany Petite from Virtuous Circle Counselling for anyone thinking about getting help and support - trust me - put yourself first! You are worth it! I always feel supported and validated and can't believe how far I have come since our first session. With Tiffany's help I am learning how to work through my anxiety. I am being given important tools and learning techniques that I can use now and going forward. Every session I have with Tiffany expands my world in allowing me to take back what is important to me. This is truly life changing - in the best way!”Read moreShow less

“I have heard numerous times that finding the “best fit” for a therapist is an important part of the process. Tiffany’s kind, non-judgmental, nature made it easy for me to feel comfortable and talk about the issues I was currently experiencing, and her knowledge and expertise ensured that I was given the right tools and techniques to achieve my therapy goals. I would recommend Tiffany to anyone who is currently looking for a therapist. Thanks for everything!”Read moreShow less
