“Went 3 weeks with constant pain in my right shoulder and doctors saying just take pain meds. Finally booked a massage to see if it would help. First session with Julie brought so much relief. Just had my second appointment and I am in less pain than before. She showed me stretches to do in between appointments and I can’t thank her enough. She saw the pain and went to help. “I booked online short notice for an hour massage they got me they got me in the same day and billed my insurance. Massage quality was excellent, the therapist Erin was polite and very knowledgeable and offered advice to help with my health and exercise goals in regards to stretches I can do to help the muscles. “I’ve always been a bit anxious when it comes to massage, having had a few off putting experiences previously. But the moment I walked into Turtle Island I was greeted by the lovely owner Julie, who put all my anxieties at ease and walked me through the experience with a gentle but skilled hand. She has such a calming way about her, knowing when to keep the conversation going and when to taper off, she had the perfect pressure and has made a massage convert out of me. “I had my first massage with Lani yesterday and I can't believe the difference she made! I went in with neck pain and a week long headache, she worked muscles I didn't even know I had around my rotator cuffs, and I left a little tender but feeling better than I have in months. The room was very relaxing, the music was soothing, and Lani was professional and informative! I'm quite new to massage therapy, so she explained what she was doing when working on certain areas and gave me some helpful tips on how to combat muscle tension.
