Always have great experience with both the interns and therapists! i would recommend this place to any of my friends, Tamsen in particular has an incredible ability to encourage persistent and gentle introspection and they ask questions that help you learn a lot about yourself!

I recently had the chance to connect with James, and he was fantastic. From the very beginning, I felt like we were on the same page, which made it so much easier to open up. James has a great way of helping you work through things that have been weighing you down, all without any sense of judgment. Being able to talk openly and feel truly heard made a huge difference for me. Highly recommend!

I had several sessions with Lo, who is a counsellor here. I found this experience very positive and helpful to my life situation at then. Lo was a very kind and patient counsellor, she never judged or dismissed any feeling and response that I had. I felt this space is safe and friendly. I believe her future client will feel the same way (or even better) as I do.

Delyse at Turning Point Therapy is a highly skilled practitioner. She's not only easy to talk to, but also trauma-informed and maintains excellent standards of care. Her calming and caring presence truly stands out. I'd highly recommend her and any of her associates at the practice.

Turning Point Therapy is an asset to our local community. The therapists are caring and competent and the interns are an excellent low cost resource during hard economic times. I especially valued my experience with Rhonda. The office staff is friendly and helpful and appointments are simple to book. Wait times are short and appointments are available both in person and online. I appreciated the possibility to book a half hour no-cost appointment to test compatibility with a therapist before committing to work with them. Kudos to the clinical director, Delyse Ledgard, for creating this wonderful and accessible service with a safe and inclusive environment. Highly recommended.

Sarah's counseling is top-notch! Even though she's an intern, her support game is strong. She creates this awesome vibe that just makes change and growth feel natural. Super easy to talk to, and you can tell she genuinely cares. If you're looking for solid, supportive counseling, Sarah's your go-to!

I have nothing but praise for Turning Point Therapy. I contacted a number of organizations regarding their internship/low cost provision, and Turning Point was by far the best experience. From the outset, I felt listened to and they suggested a trial conversation. Therapy wise: absolutely brilliant - Soraya was absolutely amazing. She is so empathetic, compassionate and I both laughed and cried. Administrative wise, super personal and very efficient/easy payment. I would thoroughly recommend.

I have been seeing Ella for over 6 months now and highly recommend her as a counsellor. She is a spectacular listener and genuinely cares about her client's well-being. She helped in see my story with a whole new perspective. She has this unique ability to slow you down during sessions and help you connect with your true feelings and authentic self. Though I still have a lot more healing to do, I am confident I will get through the other side with her help. I am already feel like a whole new person with a whole new life a ahead of me. I cannot thank her enough for the difference she has made in my life. 🙏🏽

Found a low-cost in-training counsellor here at the beginning of 2021 and I've been seeing her regularly ever since, now that she's a registered counsellor I pay a sliding scale fee, which is still manageable on my low-income/student budget. The front desk is easy to work with too. They're organized and on-time which alleviates additional money anxieties on my part; the one time they double-billed me, I pointed it out and the issue was resolved. If you're looking for affordable therapy I would suggest getting in touch with Turning Point and seeing if there are interns taking on clients.

My experience of clinical supervision with Delyse at Turning Point Therapy is fantastic. I was recommended by one of my professor to reach out to Delyse for clinical supervision and I find her really amazing!! Her theoretical lens are so integrative. She is really authentic and her experiential approach of work holds a very peaceful container for clients. It is already very healing for me to have her as my supervisor, I can't imagine how wonderful it would be to be her client. If it is not because she is already my supervisor at first place, I would really love to have her as my therapist.
