Paul Lavergne is an excellent Counsellor. I learn much from each session and have lots to think about after one. I've made some personally positive changes in my life through some hard work and thankfully through the guidance of great counselling from Paul!

Paul is the best counsellor. I needed a therapist who is not only compassionate and empathic but one who is honest and can call out my negative narratives. I have seen him for four years now and have made so much progress. He actually cares and listens and wants you better. Healing is a lot of hard work and can be painful. But it us well worth it.

Paul is an amazing therapist and worth every buck. I had done some shopping around for a therapist who would call out my nonsense and hold me accountable, and got everything I asked for. In the few months since we started sessions, Paul has helped me with: learning when to prioritize life, gaining a backbone (and saying no!), and recognize unhelpful or distorted thoughts. He has also pointed me in the right direction for diagnosis, and plan for hardships at work. Paul is knowledgable and competent, and is a real human being rather than an expensive sound board. I hope you find his services and comfort up your alley too! - BS

Like most of us who had out of control addictions, Paul was able to get to the heart of the issue, apply his training to my issues and start leading me to a better way of thinking. He is caring but will hold you accountable for your actions. I highly recommend Paul, if you have any sexual addictions

Paul and I have been seeing each other for two and half years. He has given me some very good advice that I will forever be grateful for. I enjoy our sessions because he remembers so much of my history from our meetings. I have always felt incredibly comfortable with him.

Paul Lavergne is an incredibly personable therapist that no one should have any hesitation to put him at the top of their list, be they male, female or couples! He has enough qualifications behind his name that you would expect to meet an old fuddly duddy with outdated experience but he is far from it! My experiences with him have been positive all along, especially his acceptance of where you’re at and his ability to solve your problems . Five Stars all the way! Gareth Jones Recovering Addict

Paul is a very intuitive and knowledgeable therapist. I really appreciated his honest and direct nature in helping me recognize and address my areas of concern. I have seen different therapists in the span of 20+ years and I can honestly say Paul has been the best by far. In addition to his skill as a therapist, Paul is a funny, genuine and caring person.

It has been a year since starting counselling with Paul at Turning Point. For me it’s has been an 180 degree turn and this has been accomplished by following Paul’s direction and using the resources he gave me to use to work towards my recovery. Paul is approachable, understanding and empathetic. Thank you Paul. P.M.

Paul has been intrical in helping me with my severe anxiety. He is not judgmental and I feel like I've known him for years. It is always hard opening up especially when you are not sure where to start. He made it very comfortable yet with honesty that is dignified and not preachy. After the passing of my Father I had fallen deep into a trauma and depression as well. Hos knowledge, encouragement and guiding hand has been a massive blessing in my life. He has definitely been an asset to me and my family as I continue to grow and learn from him.

Compassionate, no nonsense, non judgmental approach to overcoming unwanted compulsive sexual behavior. Paul provides a firm yet caring atmosphere with which to help facilitate recovery from sex addiction. Excellent communication skills and masterful knowledge of what it takes to be clean and sober from this insidious disease. Offers compassionate , understanding supportive advice for spouses, who's lives are turned completely upside down by these unwanted behaviors.
