“Truly disappointing experience. I emailed specifically asking for an after 5 pm appointment and was told "yes, our clinicians do have limited availability past 5pm". They made us wait two weeks for an intake appointment at which point they told us that they refuse to book us into an evening spot because they only save those for clients who can also see them during the day (what????). Seems unethical to make us wait two weeks to share this information with us especially since we were transparent about our needs. This should have been communicated to us before an intake call was even scheduled so that we could make an informed decision about moving forward with an intake appointment. We are now two weeks further from the support that we need and having to restart our search during one of the busiest times for seeking therapy (we tried to avoid this by reaching out in the summer). As psychologists and social workers, their duty is to do no harm and to consider their clients best interests - I don't believe that my "best interest" was considered and I do feel the harm of having had my time wasted.”
