Her massages have been an integral part of my recovery and every visit helped me feel more relaxed and like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. “I had an excellent experience. Melicia White was professional, knowledgeable and attentive to my needs. She focused on the areas of tension in my neck shoulders and back and I felt improvement after the treatment. The pressure was perfect and the techniques help relieve my muscles tightness. The room smell so amazing. Thank you so much for caring for me. I will be back for sure.”Read moreShow less

“What a beautiful space! My best friend chose this location for birthday facials and I'm so glad she did! This experience was almost perfect. The staff at the front desk are very kind and welcoming. There is lots of seating available while waiting for your services. The facial I received from Priyanka was amazing. She explained what she was doing and educated me on products without pushing for a sale. I felt very comfortable the entire time. The only slight complaint that I have is that there really was no privacy between our two rooms. I think it was the rooms that are typically used for couples' treatments together, but the thin door remained closed and I could hear every single word that was said on the other side. Again, I was with my best friend so it really didn't bother me but I can't imagine having a stranger in that room and hearing every sound that came from them. The checkout process was a breeze and again the staff were very friendly. I also found out that you get a $10 discount on your birthday! What a nice surprise :) I can't wait to go see Priyanka again!”Read moreShow less

“I had two excellent massage sessions at Therapeutic Body Concepts in Sherwood Park — one with Anita on May 20 and one with Edith on May 30. Anita was wonderful. She has a very intuitive touch and knew exactly where to focus. Her pressure, technique, and attention to detail made the whole session incredibly relaxing and effective. Edith provided an amazing full‑body massage and incorporated hot stones, which made the treatment even more soothing and therapeutic. She worked out kinks and knots I didn’t even know I had, and her pressure was consistently perfect. After the full‑body work, she finished with a specialized head and scalp massage, which was deeply calming and truly one of the highlights of the session. Both therapists were professional, skilled, and genuinely caring. I left each appointment feeling refreshed, lighter, and well taken care of. I highly recommend both Anita and Edith, and the spa overall.”Read moreShow less

“I completely understand a business having policies around cannabis use and their right to refuse service if they feel it’s a liability. My issue is with how the situation was handled. When I booked the couples massage, I had no idea this was a policy. The only mention of it was on the intake form after we had already arrived. My partner and I completed all of the paperwork and waited before being told we were being turned away because they could smell cannabis. I was not impaired or disruptive in any way. I had only used a small amount beforehand earlier in the day for pain management and honestly just felt slightly more relaxed, if anything. My partner and I often share a small joint before couples massages or sometime during the day when we are in the city and it has never once been an issue anywhere else, so this situation completely caught us off guard. Looking back, I could see the staff quietly discussing something behind the counter while we waited, but at the time I genuinely didn’t think it was about us because we were excited to be there and fully planning on treating ourselves to massages and products while in town. If this is such a strict policy, it should be clearly stated during booking or immediately upon arrival, not hidden as the last question on an intake form after clients are already checked in and waiting. If the smell alone was enough to refuse service, then we should have been told right away instead of being made to sit through the entire intake process first. We were refused service after being told they do not accept clients who use/have used cannabis, regardless of timing. That being said, the staff were polite about it, which I do appreciate.”Read moreShow less

“I took my 15-year-old son to see Melicia for his very first massage, and it was an excellent experience. Naturally, he was quite nervous at first, but Melicia made him feel comfortable and at ease throughout the entire treatment. She was professional, welcoming, and attentive to his comfort the whole time. He left feeling amazing and even said he wants to get more massages in the future. I highly recommend her services.”Read moreShow less
