“Not a bad experience, but a few things could have been done differently. Once in the exam room, the RPN entered and it was down to business! No friendly conversation and a little awkward as she immediately began critiquing my feet. I recognize that people of all ages attend this clinic, but if dealing with the public, you've got to know how to read the room. She asked me if I'm still capable of trimming my own toenails and wanting to know if I'm still "mobile." I'm 54 years old, an emergency nurse who works 12 hr shifts in a hospital, had a pedicure not 2 weeks prior and was there for identification and treatment of a single wart on my foot. I know a proper assessment is both objective and subjective, but perhaps saying "it doesn't appear you've got mobility issues, but I still need to ask..." might have been better. Alex, the chiropodist, was lovely. Very friendly, easy to talk to, looked me in the eye when speaking to me, identified the issue and laid out a plan. Knowing that the majority of the appointment time is spent with the nurse, I've cancelled my follow up because we just weren't a good fit.”

“Nice friendly foot clinic -I was here yesterday for a assessment exam. I get 500$ a year for foot care so thought i would use some to get feet checked, but i had no issues with my feet. -Booking online was easy, and filled out the intake form online also. -arrived for the appointment, and was asked to removed shoes or wear the shoe covers. -Then quickly led to a room, with a chair that looks like its for pregnant people, but its for feet, obviously. -There was a bit of a wait, but the nurse? assistant? was very nice in telling me after a few min that there was a delay, and i was next. -My exam with the doctor was good, she was knowledgeable and friendly. did a physical and visual exam, and had me stand and walk. - After they had already charged my insurance which i put on the intake form. but I did check their website before and Manulife was not on the list they accepted. I told them so they might change that, but it was a nice surprise that they charged directly. -the staff were all very friendly and positive, even early in morning. Overall good foot clinic, i will return if i have a issue.”

“Considering that the clinic cancelled my original appointment the day before the scheduled appointment th eactual appointment went very well. Alex and student Nick were VERY professional and explained all procedures and treat,ent very well. Allll questions asked were answered thoroughly the treatment provided by Alexwascarriedcoutminimizing pan as best as possible. I would definitely refer familynandfriendstomRoyalCity Foot Clinic. Both toes were operated on today. And… I doNOT have a sing le complaint. Alec completely prepared my husband and I for what to expect and she proceeded to perform the procedure. I was left with complete aftercare instructions along with her personal cell phone number. She completed the procedure and I was pain free throughout. I suggest today that all Alex’es practice is evidence based as she can quote you the latest research in all procedure. I’m greatly in debt to Alex and her lovely staff ( who are all so happy in what they do and always have a smile and friendly greeting. Thank you so much.”
