About the clinic
We are located in Portsmouth Professional Centre at 6545 Portsmouth Rd, Nanaimo, and are in the rear building on the third floor facing the street. Access is through the lobby on the left hand side facing in from the street, with stairs or elevator available. “When your pelvic floor decides to play tricks on you, you need wise, kind, capable support. Kristin's knowledge and calm, caring manner make what could be an uncomfortable experience feel very normal and very hopeful. I feel I have a wonderful professional support person for whom no question is foolish and who can see ways through challenge. The practice is bright and airy and always has lovely music playing in the background that helps me to relax. “I've had the best experience here, from the moment you walk in, everyone has been so welcoming. The space is so bright and clean. Kristin and Natasha have been amazing to work with. “I found TAPESTRY Integrative Health while searching for someone who could help me with my chronic neck pain and tension migraines. Kirsten and Natasha knew exactly how to treat the issues I was experiencing and it has been life changing. My neck pain is literally gone and I haven’t had a migraine in almost 2 months and I usually got them at least once a week. They are both incredibly knowledgeable and they both have a beautiful gift of knowing exactly how to treat the issues at hand. “Kirsten is a master in her field! I saw her for pelvic floor issues and left after the first treatment feeling extremely relieved and comfortable for the first time in almost a year. “I am SO grateful to have found Kirsten and her team! She is a fantastic physiotherapist and has a wealth of knowledge and experience working with women and pelvic floor issues. Her office is beautiful, the front desk staff have been welcoming and helpful, and I felt at ease and safe with Kirsten from our first meeting. She has been helping me with chronic pain in my hips that was making it painful to walk, and an overactive bladder that has caused me anxiety for as long as I can remember. My hips are getting better and better each week, and since our first session 3 months ago, I have gained more awareness and control over my bladder than I ever thought possible. “My wife and I have been patients of Tapestry for the past year and a half. We couldn't recommend the clinic enough. My wife was first recommended there for post-pregnancy pelvic floor treatments, finding relief from the pain and ailments of giving birth. She has also participated in Pilates treatment and found it to be a foundational base getting her moving and healthy again. I saw Kirsten for some long-term running related issues.
