“I initially worked with DR.NAT for the restriction in my hamstrings, and she did an amazing job helping me improve the activation and release of those muscles. After that, she referred me to Mateen, and I’m really glad she did!! MATEEN (FST) is fascinatingly expert at what he does. As a powerlifter, I put a lot of stress on my body through training, school, and everyday life. I went to him initially for chronic neck and upper back pain that I had been dealing with for quite a while. He started with a thorough assessment to check my mobility and muscle function, then worked on the targeted the exact nerve and muscle knots that were tight and restricted , like a snipper. He used active release techniques while having me perform certain movements, and also did some cupping to promote blod flow in the affected area. By the end of the session, I noticed a completely obvious improvement in both my pain and mobility:) After that experience, I came back to address a long standing issue with my calves. The discomfort had gotten to the point where I couldn’t even perform loaded calf raises at all for yearss, so I had stopped training calves in isolation altogether. After just one session, the pain and restriction were gone!!! What I appreciate most is that he takes the time to understand the problem and explain what he’s doing. He clearly knows his craft and genuinely wants to help his patients feel and move better; I cannot honestly explain enough how great he is… I’d definitely recommend Mateen to anyone dealing with pain, mobility restrictions, or stubborn tightness that hasn’t improved with other treatments.”Read moreShow less
