“Even if it happened more than a decade ago, I feel it's important to write this review. I told the lead Psychologist (Dr. Gray) at the time I had ADHD, and that I was struggling because the medication wore off early. She dismissed this concern and immediately jumped to saying I should put in "more effort". This is fundamentally clear that she didn't understand ADHD if she made this claim, putting in "effort" requires executive functions which are biological in origin. Medication doesn't eliminate symptoms it reduces them. I think she's trying but when you focus on the textbook definitions over lived patient experiences things like this happen.”Read moreShow less

“I had an assessment here but the final report has been delayed far beyond what is reasonable. I contacted the clinic multiple times by phone and email, but staff did not provide updates or take responsibility. They acted as if nothing was wrong and gave no solution. This lack of communication and accountability is very unprofessional, especially when clients rely on timely reports for important needs.”Read moreShow less

“My son and I had an exceptional experience with Springboard, and I can't recommend them highly enough! From the moment we started the process, the administrative staff was incredibly professional, efficient, and effective in communicating every step of the way. They clearly outlined what needed to be completed prior to the assessment, and there was immediate follow-up on the same day the assessment was completed, which made the entire process seamless. The psychologist Dr Anne Bailey and pediatrician Dr. Yasmin Kazemi we met with were outstanding. They were not only highly professional but also personable, creating a warm and comfortable environment for us to share information. My 17-year-old son felt incredibly at ease, and it was clear that both the psychologist and pediatrician took the time to understand his struggles deeply. What truly amazed us was their ability to pinpoint the areas where our son was facing challenges and to offer incredible, actionable strategies for moving forward. “Did not provide assessment results in the time frame they promised. Based on the guidance they provided, I had booked an appointment with my GP (which of course needs to be weeks in advance), but was a waste of time, money and energy as they had not sent the assessment through. “I would not recommend Springboard. I took both my children there, paid a lot of money, with poor to no results. I found both the psychiatrists that my kids worked with to be odd, with poor communication skills and little insight. The medical doctor was very knowledgeable on ADHD drugs and we followed her advice. But the drugs prescribed had many adverse side effects and did more harm than good. We had our son signed up for “coaching” services. He dreaded these appointments and they had no effect. My advice to parents and children with ADHD is to do your research and if you use a service such as Springboard, critically analyze everything they do. Their motive is to have a successful business! And yours is a better quality of life for your loved one with ADHD. You can do better than Springboard provides with learning about ADHD and the variety of treatment and strategies. “Their one-day ADHD assessment is an incredible service! They do the tests and interviews in the morning and I had the results by the afternoon. I had been waiting for an ADHD assessment with another clinic which was going to be 4 or 5 appointments over several weeks (not to mention the 4 or 5 month waitlist for the appointments in the first place). I was very happy to hear about Springboard's one-day assessment. Their care team is also great, with the other clinic I could never get a hold of anyone - phone calls were not returned and e-mails took days to be replied to.
