“I came to Natalie carrying the heaviness of losing my best friend, my horse Burr, and honestly feeling desperate for a way to restore peace. Somatic energy work was new to me, but I felt deeply drawn to work with her, and the way we connected felt organic and “right.” I went into our session with an open heart and no real expectations, and I came out of it feeling completely restored. While I didn’t have profound sensations during the session itself, a few hours later something shifted. My nervous system was completely at peace; a feeling I hadn’t experienced in over a year. I had been functioning in survival mode for so long that I didn’t realize how dysregulated I truly was. The demands in my life haven’t changed, but the calm and clear-headedness remain. It feels like I got myself back. Even chronic tension I carried at the base of my neck and between my shoulder blades disappeared within hours and hasn’t returned. And perhaps most remarkable, my capacity for stimulating environments came back. I had assumed my lower tolerance was just life, parenting, stress… and had built coping strategies around it. But the weekend after my session, my family spent three days at Great Wolf Lodge (a situation that normally would have left me burned out) and I didn’t go numb, didn’t need my earplugs once, didn’t feel depleted, and didn’t need the supports I’d come to rely on. I was blown away! I can’t fully explain this work, but I know what I’m feeling, and it’s incredible. I hold such deep appreciation for Natalie for helping me recover pieces of myself I didn’t even realize were missing. This was the thing I didn’t know I needed, and I’m so grateful I found it 🫶”
