Thanks to Scotia Physio and in particular, Cynthia Murphy, for helping me heal from TMJ! Cynthia’s expertise was essential to my recovery. The home exercises she provided helped me to make continued progress between sessions. In addition, Cynthia is a lovely person and I appreciate all her help!

I have been seeing Emma as my physiotherapist for approximately 8 months now due to a motor vehicle accident. She is very understanding, knowledgeable, and encouraging when working with me, which is a great help in boosting my confidence when I become frustrated & pessimistic over my recovery efforts. Thus far, it seems that we have overcome two of my injury issues, & so I am optimistic that we will resolve the remaining injury.

Danyon did a great job today. He explained his plan well for me and was very attentive to my questions. His technique was gentle but effective. I have another appointment with him in two weeks.mentions Danyon Nickerson →

I have been going to Scotia Physio for muscle related messages for two years and the results have been nothing less than incredible. My massage therapist, Erin, is very knowledgeable. She identifies the communicated pain points and consistently provides the appropriate massage applications for relief. I highly recommend Scotia Physiotherapy to all.

Dawn was very thorough and clear in her explanations of the assessment process. I found her to be professional while being friendly and personable for the duration of the appointment. I would be happy to recommend her to anyone seeking physiotherapy in the Halifax area.

Dawn has helped me manage the chronic pain of my severely damaged back. She not only 'goes the extra mile', she runs an extra marathon to help her patients: sending letters to physicians, providing exercise info (photos/instructions) I can use at home. She has expertise, experience, patience & compassion; equally important, she has a gentle touch. I have sung her praises to friends; as another Scotia Physiotherapy patient said, 'It's a different world here; I'll never go anywhere else.'
