I'm not saying that the staff here are at fault. However, when I walked past the building at around 5PM, there were about ten people outside who appeared to be under the influence of drugs. Many of them were behaving erratically and seemed to be in a serious mental health crisis. I believe the city should provide appropriate treatment and support facilities for these individuals for their own well-being as well as for the safety of pedestrians.

It’s a church for anyone, but it’s a sanctuary for the forgotten. It’s one of the few spaces where those left without are not asked to keep moving. Outdoor WiFi access, and a place where you might meet an angel. Tread lightly speak softly carefully fully, for Hark you may just be speaking to one of G-d’s High Messengers, for this place is Holy in certain unregarded moments. Exxxaltation of the remnants of hope in the big bad city is appropriate here, remember you’re just passing through, take only memory leave only light.

I appreciate the work Sanctuary does to improve people's lives in the community. The people in the overpriced condos next door can't tolerate poverty, and the lawsuit is not helping the problem.

Sanctuary has long history of being awesome. Here a dedicated group shares community, dignity, and love with people most impacted by homelessness and marginalization. We are so very fortunate to have them!

I am so disappointed in the way they’ve been managing this shelter. The people who are in this shelter are so out of control and they don’t care about anything or anyone. I recently saw them beating the life out of an indian guy without any reason. This is how our neighbourhood has become and we’re supposed to live in fear. I fear for my life whenever I walk pass through this shelter because Idk when Will i get jumped by someone for no reason at all. This is unacceptable!

I have gone to services here in the past as well as helped volunteer and have never felt anything but welcomed. The staff and volunteers are all kind people working to make actual change. Seeing people complaining about a group trying to help people society often overlooks and so many people agreeing with them is saddening.

Not very neighborly appears to be the opinion that some people have. I guess we'll get to watch this one play out in court? From a news article: Outside the church last Friday, Sanctuary’s executive director, Gil Clelland, declined to comment on the lawsuit, but he sent a statement via email on Tuesday evening that said the organization is prepared to defend itself in court.

Sanctuary helped my brother, Hayden out when he was not doing so well. I cannot thank them for the solace, the food and the general help they offered him when he was in Toronto. You all do wonderful things, and we do appreciate the work you all put in.

This place has helped change many lives. It's the staff that make this spot so awesome for people that need help and for people that are not ready for help. No discrimination Or jungement. Simon, Craig, Thea, leaf, and so many more are truly angels sent from mother nature. Thank you and you guys will always remain in my heart. Iggy too.
