I had an excellent experience with Pax and the Restore Human Team in Vancouver. Pax and the team were incredibly professional, friendly, and knowledgeable, and they create a welcoming environment from the moment you walk in. Pax takes the time to explain movements clearly, tailors sessions to your needs, and genuinely cares about your progress and well-being. The coaching is thoughtful, motivating, and effective you can really tell they are passionate about helping people move and feel better. I highly recommend Pax and Restore Human to anyone looking for high-quality, supportive coaching!

Ive been a dancer for over a decade who shifted into hiking and adventure sports, as well as intricate fitness like yoga and pilates. I had the inkling that this space — with its inclusive and adventurous branding would tailor my multifaceted physical background to a reliable, sustainable, healing rhythmic physical literacy. I am wholly restored and ready to explore with my friends thanks to the synchronous and asynchronous training!

Awesome and fun workout / functional recovery class. Pax and team gave a killer session on functional fitness and really do a good job of explaining the 'why' of connective tissue and movement. Highly recommend!

It is very easy to see why Restore Human has five stars. I hate the gym so much that I’ve never been. I’ve never been an organised exercise person. But after just a few sessions with Jason, my posture has improved, I feel stronger, fitter, and ready to take on the world. I leave each session feeling invigorated and jazzed, not drained and exhausted. I’m learning new things about my body and how to get better alignment and turn on different muscle groups. It’s such a supportive and welcoming space. The opposite of what I thought “the gym” would be like.

As a retired elite athlete (national team volleyball), now pursuing a career as an active duty military member, my body has accumulated some wear and tear through the years. 7 months ago, while looking to take my fitness and well-being to the next level, a friend recommended I connect with Coach Pax. Our initial introduction was very thorough, taking the time to discuss past injuries, current lifestyle, and future goals. Since starting to work with Coach Pax, I have regained a level of athleticism I never thought possible, all the while continuing to make significant improvements to my fitness. Coach Pax’s programming was particularly successful at addressing underlying faulty movement patterns, erasing a decade of pain and dysfunction, and eliminating barriers to performance. Coach Pax has shown considerable engagement and passion through our time together, taking the time to tailor our approach to my individual needs, and to create flexibility in the programming, accounting for lifestyle constraints and hiccoughs along the way. My body continues to feel younger every day, and movements that I used to dread (stairs, lunges, running with load) I execute without a second thought. I have recently scored in the 99.9th percentile of my annual military fitness test, and I continue to make progress daily. I strongly recommend Coach Pax to anyone looking to re-discover the joy of movement and reach their unique fitness goals.

I had the pleasure of working with Pax at Restore Human as my remote personal trainer for six months. The experience was refreshing and transformative. Pax paid exceptional attention to my capabilities and focus areas, creating unique workouts that kept me curious and engaged. A standout aspect was our check-ins for reflection, review, and feedback. This process helped me understand my growth and ensured each block of workouts was aligned with my needs. His approach targets balance, strength, mobility, and down-regulation, providing a comprehensive framework for health and resilience. Pax has an enormous capacity for positivity and motivation, offering supportive accountability. When life threw me some curveballs, he adjusted my sessions to be shorter and less draining, while still effective. He ensured I stayed on track with my goals despite the challenges. I highly recommend Pax and Restore Human to anyone seeking a personalized, effective, and engaging fitness journey. He’s an outstanding trainer.

Come to Restore Human if you're looking for a life-changing experience that transforms the way look at movement. The Restore Human coaches have an incredible wealth of knowledge about the human body. And based on that they carefully put together sessions that are tailored to where you're physically at. On top of this, they manage to make you feel very comfortable and accepted which made me super excited to go there. They have reshaped my relationship with fitness that makes it 10x more fun. I would easily recommend them over any other fitness studio.

Absolutely pleased with how the trainers at Restore Human are working with me to achieve my goals. I recommended Gabriel and Pax (and I'm sure the other trainers) with great enthusiasm!

My mother recently signed up for personal training classes with Pax Frias, a member of the Restore Human team, and she wanted to share this review. She's not the most techie person, so I am providing this review on her behalf :) "Pax Frias is always smiling and friendly and makes the effort to make me feel comfortable. He's also patient when I have to stop sometimes for breaks. We discussed the problems I have. The main problem being my neck because of a degenerative disc which affects the nerve. Another problem was my whole right side from the neck down including the leg and ankle. I had surgery, to remove a lobe. At the time I was 48. Unfortunately the surgeon severed a nerve which has caused me to have pain every day. Pax took all this in consideration and started a procedure of exercises for my neck. This would include circles with my head, right to left and then left to right. Shoulder lifts. Also working with my arms plus leg lifts and also floor exercises and the importance of breathing exercises. To strengthen my legs it was suggested I climb stairs up and down three times a day I definitely work on the neck exercises which has been a great help. Breathing exercises is also one I follow since I also had meditation classes which I was taking before the COVID 19. Working with Pax once a week for the past 5 weeks has been so helpful. I do the exercises every day which has made my neck and shoulders so much more comfortable to deal with. My opinion is that Pax cares about his clients. He does the best he can to make sure that each person will do well and increase their physical ability." - Sharon Timmerman
