Brittney is a wonderful physio, and I’m so grateful I found her after badly injuring my ankle last summer. She did an incredible job partnering with me throughout my rehab, and there are a few things I especially appreciated about her approach as someone who has unfortunately injured themselves *a lot* over the years: — From day one, she set clear expectations about the recovery timeline and helped me understand the different stages of getting from injury back to sport. — She truly listened to my feedback throughout the process and regularly adjusted exercises and treatment based on my limitations, which made me much more likely to stay consistent and keep progressing. — She understands not only the physical side of recovery, but also the psychological hurdles that come with returning to sport after an injury. She is kind, funny, supportive, and tough when she needs to be. I appreciate her so much and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable physio who will hold you accountable in the most compassionate way — especially athletes!

I’ve been a client at Pulse Physiotherapy for 7 years. I started with Terra and Stella and have also been treated by Stephanie, Brittany, and Sarah. All have communicated well so I have had continuity of care For the last 8 months Sarah has been treating my severe injury. I had a bad fall broke my arm and required surgery with 2 plates and screws and a bone graft with radial nerve semi paralysis . I spent 22 days in hospital and Sarah began treatment as soon as I was released. Her magic hand and encouragement to do my homework has resulted in an 85% recovery in the 8 months since my injury! My surgeon stated that I am months ahead of where she expected me to be at this point given my age (86 May 10) and the severity of the injury. I give Sarah full credit for her skill and lovely encouragement to do the work to recover I’m very grateful to Pulse Physiotherapy and Sarah Graham

Really positive experience with Sarah Graham. She helped identify an issue that’s been nagging me for years and set me up with an effective plan to deal with it. She’s very knowledgeable, approachable and professional, and I can’t recommend her enough. Terra Plum is also an excellent practitioner and she runs a top shelf clinic. Pulse is fantastic.

I stubbled upon Pulse Physio while looking for a multi-disciplinary physiotherapy clinic for treatment after a car accident (MVA). I liked the fact is was woman owned and ran, had easy online scheduling and overall seemed very accessible as a patient. I have been seeing Sarah and Brittney for Physio, as well as Amanda for massage and I couldn't be happier with the treatment I am receiving. The knowledge and attention to detail given each treatment really makes you feel like a valued patient. I have relief in areas that have not felt this good in a long time. They all work together to give you the best outcome and do so with care. I have had Physio treatments in the past but none have been this informative or approachable. It's a joy to come in for my appointments and learn more about my body along the way. Massage therapy from Amanda has been some of the best tissue work I have had in the city. Her expertise and knowledge is unmatched. I am truly grateful to have found Pulse and all their amazing therapists and I cannot recommend them enough. It feels so reassuring to find a place you know that will have your back (literally and figuratively)

Amanda is a wonderful massage therapist & very friendly, I always come away feeling like a million dollars and the feeling lasts. I had some neck problems the previous time & the massage & advice she gave me had me back fit within a couple of weeks. I have had several massage therapists & she is one of the top 3.

I’ve been seeing Brittney for both physiotherapy and clinical Pilates, and the experience has been excellent. She’s friendly, professional, and really knows how to tailor treatment to your needs. The sessions have helped me get stronger and feel more confident in my movement. Highly recommend her if you’re looking for someone who’s skilled and easy to work with.

My daughter started to see Brittney at Pulse Physiotherapy after she injured her ankle in dance class. We sought out Brittney specifically after hearing of her extensive knowledge and experience with dance and treating dancers. She has been wonderful to work with and has gone above and beyond not only treating my daughter’s acute injury but also helping her to return to dance safely. Her strong foundation of dance technique allowed her to assess, treat and build a program specific to the needs of my daughter and her dancing training. Working with Brittney this past season has taught us the value of a good physiotherapist and how important they are to keeping yourself healthy and more resilient to injury.

I have had a fantastic experience working with Steph. She provided hands-on treatment, provided tailored at-home exercises, and introduced me to clinical Pilates—which made a huge difference in my progress. Steph’s energy, knowledge, and genuine passion for what she does sets her apart. I’d 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a skilled and supportive physiotherapist! I’ve also recently been seeing Kara for massage therapy. Every session leaves me feeling noticeably better—less tension, fewer aches, and feeling more mobile. She’s very intuitive, always finding the tension that I couldn’t quite pinpoint and making it disappear. Both Steph and Kara have been fantastic to work with. They’re knowledgeable, caring, and truly dedicated to what they do. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for high-quality care.

I came to Pulse for physio on my frozen shoulder. Stephanie Henderson did an awesome job limbering me up for the gardening season. She told me about Kara Idlund, a Personal Trainer, that recently joined the team. Stephanie wanted me to transition to a fitness routine. Being a senior I was not particularly fond of gyms, spending my exercise time mostly outside. So I asked Kara if she could do a home program for me. She gave me an excellent program that evolves as I get stronger. We work one on one. Kara has found ways to use what I have at home to develop the program. I feel physically and mentally better since doing the tailored program that she developed for me. By the way Kara is also a massage therapist. I would highly recommend Stephanie and their newest team member Kara. Much gratitude for your help. Stephanie J.

I went to Sarah Graham to get physiotherapy for a knee injury and its consequent arthritis. I have met with many physiotherapists over the years but the Pulse philosophy and Sarah’s one on one attention are by far my best and most successful experience. Her program of exercise, muscle manipulation and gentle encouragement have left me with a successful outcome and a program I can continue to incorporate in my daily life. Unlike other physiotherapists, she focused on creating a program of manageable exercises that did not overwhelm me with their number or difficulty. Thank you Sarah.
