“I began physiotherapy at Physioworks with Gevorg Eginyan after my doctor referred me to a surgeon for my knee and explained that surgery wouldn't be considered unless I tried to rehabilitate it first. At that point, I was mostly going through the motions of physiotherapy and believed surgery was my only real option. Years of hockey and other sports had left me convinced that the damage to my knee was chronic and likely irreparable. I'll admit I was skeptical, as I hadn't benefited from physiotherapy in the past. Working with Gevorg completely changed my perspective. What sets Gevorg apart is how clearly he explains the biology of the body, how it responds to trauma, how chronic injuries develop, and most importantly, how healing actually happens. That understanding made a huge difference for me and helped me trust the process. Since starting treatment, my knee and overall leg strength have improved drastically. I've also seen significant improvement in long-standing back and wrist issues in just a few months. Most surprisingly, I've started running, something I've never done in my life and always hated. Yes, I've joined the cult. At this point, I don't anticipate needing surgery at all. I truly cannot say enough good things about working with Gevorg at Physioworks.
