Overall, my experience at OVCMT was exceptional. The program provided a solid foundation of knowledge and practical skills that I've applied throughout my eight-year massage therapy career. The instructors are deeply committed to ensuring students develop a thorough understanding of massage theory, technique, and the scientific principles of human anatomy and physiology—essential elements for success in this field. Beyond the academics, the school fostered a welcoming and supportive environment, making it a truly rewarding place to learn. I'm genuinely grateful to have been a part of it.

I am glad I discovered this school. Not only can I get the much needed therapy I need, I also get the opportunity to aid in a student's learning process. I had my first appointment with a first year student, I was very happy with the whole experience and look forward to more.

I started school there in September of 2020 - I am the kind of person who has lots of questions and random question time was a regular occurrence for me, but i was never made to feel like I was asking too many. Teachers would take the time to help explain things multiple times when you were having a hard time understanding, at times finding alternative ways of explaining them, everyone's brains learn and understand information differently so having someone take the time to help you understand was a huge advantage in the learning experience.

I am a first year student at OVCMT and highly reccomend this program and school. Returning to school as a mature student was intimidating but the staff are wonderful and helped so much with the application process. The community at the school is very welcoming, both staff and other students, and you become close with your classmates as you learn and grow together. There is a lot of studying and effort that needs to be put in but knowing this before hand helps :) The teachers are helpful, supportive and really care about educating the students. If you're thinking of a new career and are interested in massage therapy this is the program for you! :)

Administrative staff, teaching staff and students all professional. From the start of your appointment where the student reviews your area(s) of concern to the relaxing massage, and finishing with home care tips - fantastic!

I am currently a student at OVCMT. The program is for sure challenging, there is a lot of content to study. One of the things you need to do if you want to be an RMT is pass 'boards', from the past students results OVCMT seems to prepare their students well. Teachers do their best to help you focus in on the information you need to know for both your future practice and boards. The staff does their best to support students, challenge them to think in different ways and practice different methods. I would recommend having a good support system, and knowing what ways you are able to effectively study. This is not a program someone could pass without putting time into studying.

I have been a participant of the In-reach sessions at OVCMT for several years. As a senior on a fixed budget, being able to afford massages for several pain related issues is so important. Students are very professional and all treatments are under instructor supervision. The community is so fortunate to be able to access this service. It's a win-win..students get opportunity to learn practical skills, and patients benefit from that. Thank you so much!

I am a recent graduate of OVCMT, 2022. I highly recommend this school if you are thinking of pursuing a career in massage therapy. The staff are amazing, its more then a school.. its a community. Having the support of fellow peers and staff during an intensive program is not common, except here. I can confidently say they also prepare you with everything you need to challenge the registered exams both practical and academic.

I have been a client at OVCMT student clinic for many years. I feel blessed that I have had the opportunity to enjoy the in reach program and feel this is a very valuable and mutually beneficial service that the students and college provides. I feel the college does a wonderful job of setting up their students for success.

Yes, I do definitely recommend OVCMT to give excellent , professional massages. Thank you students for Saturday’s massages to the Westside Fire Victims. It touched my heart that you reached out to us. It was a ‘well needed’ massage after all our destruction! My massage therapist was special and gave me a very wonderful thorough massage. 🙏 Thank You.
