“I started school there in September of 2020 - I am the kind of person who has lots of questions and random question time was a regular occurrence for me, but i was never made to feel like I was asking too many. Teachers would take the time to help explain things multiple times when you were having a hard time understanding, at times finding alternative ways of explaining them, everyone's brains learn and understand information differently so having someone take the time to help you understand was a huge advantage in the learning experience.”Read moreShow less

“I am a first year student at OVCMT and highly reccomend this program and school. Returning to school as a mature student was intimidating but the staff are wonderful and helped so much with the application process. The community at the school is very welcoming, both staff and other students, and you become close with your classmates as you learn and grow together. There is a lot of studying and effort that needs to be put in but knowing this before hand helps :) The teachers are helpful, supportive and really care about educating the students. If you're thinking of a new career and are interested in massage therapy this is the program for you! :)”Read moreShow less

“I am currently a student at OVCMT. The program is for sure challenging, there is a lot of content to study. One of the things you need to do if you want to be an RMT is pass 'boards', from the past students results OVCMT seems to prepare their students well. Teachers do their best to help you focus in on the information you need to know for both your future practice and boards. The staff does their best to support students, challenge them to think in different ways and practice different methods. I would recommend having a good support system, and knowing what ways you are able to effectively study. “I have been a participant of the In-reach sessions at OVCMT for several years. As a senior on a fixed budget, being able to afford massages for several pain related issues is so important. Students are very professional and all treatments are under instructor supervision. The community is so fortunate to be able to access this service. “I am a recent graduate of OVCMT, 2022. I highly recommend this school if you are thinking of pursuing a career in massage therapy. The staff are amazing, its more then a school.. its a community. Having the support of fellow peers and staff during an intensive program is not common, except here.
