“I’ve had a really positive experience with this office. The doctor is thorough and takes time to talk through detail, which I value. They’ve also been able to squeeze me and my family in when something urgent comes up. The front office team is very responsive, friendly, and supportive - they make scheduling and follow- ups easy. Overall, it’s been a great fit for my entire family.”Read moreShow less

“Dr. Woo has been our family doctor for 4 years. He is very professional, attentive to detail, and truly listens to his patients. He explains everything clearly and creates a strong sense of trust and care. Highly recommend! ☺️”

“The staff at the desk are extremely rude. They constantly avoid picking up the phone. They hang up on me as I'm speaking. She even had the nerve to threaten me with trespassing if i showed up to the clinic unannounced. Keep in mind I'm a patient of this clinic for the last 5 years. Im trying to get ahold of my doctor and they shut me down by telling me my matter isn't “urgent”. I would not be trying to get of my doctor if that matter was not urgent. You don’t get to dictate what matters are urgent for clients. Have some quality client care, unacceptable.”Read moreShow less

“Took my daughter to the clinic today, as we required an urgent appointment in order for her to be able to return to school. My daughter is on the spectrum and we had the pleasure of being seen by Dr Milan. He was amazing with her. He was kind, patient and understanding. The receptionists were also so very kind and sweet towards her too. Great experience overall.”Read moreShow less

“Very disappointing experience with Mimico Medical Clinic. I have been to many clinics, but this one has major problems with communication and patient service. They rarely answer phone calls and instead direct patients to emails or the website, where responses can take several days. For a medical clinic, timely communication should be a basic priority. One specific situation involved my child, where I needed medical advice and support. Instead of properly assessing the urgency or offering any timely appointment, I was told to go directly to the emergency room because no appointments were available. There was no attempt to triage the situation or provide alternative care options, even though it involved a child and felt quite urgent at the time. Being sent to emergency meant waiting many hours just to be seen, which added a lot of stress and delay to an already concerning situation. Rather than improving staffing levels or training employees to handle patient concerns effectively, they rely heavily on delayed email responses and redirect patients elsewhere. The staff were also rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional during interactions. Overall, this was a frustrating experience marked by poor communication, lack of empathy, and weak patient care.”Read moreShow less

“I cannot say enough amazing things about Dr. Kodsi. He was my family doctor while I lived in Ontario, and I truly feel so lucky to have had him as my physician. The only reason I am no longer his patient is because I moved out west—otherwise, I would have stayed with him without hesitation. From the very first appointment, Dr. Kodsi made me feel comfortable, heard, and genuinely cared for. He always took the time to listen to my concerns without ever making me feel rushed. In a time where many medical appointments can feel quick and impersonal, Dr. Kodsi never once made me feel unheard He was incredibly thorough with every visit, whether it was for a routine check-up, follow-up appointment, or something more serious. He explained everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and made sure I fully understood my options and next steps. His calm and reassuring approach made such a difference, especially during stressful times when I was worried about my health.. What I appreciated most was how compassionate and attentive he was. He treated me like a person, not just another patient on his schedule. It was obvious that he genuinely cared about his patients’ well-being and wanted the best for them. That level of care is rare and something I will always be grateful for. Moving out west, it's almost impossible to find a doctor that cares for you... let alone your whole family... The office staff was also always friendly, organized, and helpful, which made the entire experience even better. Booking appointments, follow-ups, and referrals was always smooth and stress-free. It was sometimes hard to reach the receptionists but I just always booked my stuff via the chat bot on their website... super simple and easy. Having a family doctor you can trust is so important, and Dr. Kodsi provided exactly that. His dedication to his patients, medical knowledge, and genuine compassion make him an exceptional doctor. I would highly recommend Dr. Kodsi to anyone looking for a family physician who truly goes above and beyond. Moving away was the only reason I had to leave his care, and I can honestly say he has been very difficult to replace.... so many doctors out here just want billable hours, etc. If you're reading this Dr. Kodsi .... miss you being my doc!!!!! - Jackie Lyons ( Osmanski )”Read moreShow less

“It is rare to find a medical practice that understands that healing begins with a sense of safety. Doctor Kodsi and his team truly prioritize the well-being of their community by maintaining a secure, respectful environment. They have a zero-tolerance policy for disruptive behavior, loitering, or verbal abuse. During a recent visit involving a high-tension situation with a woman yelling and swearing at staff and everyone around, Doctor Kodsi proactively shielded the patients and—most impressively—personally checked in on us afterward to ensure our peace of mind. Doctor Kodsi’s advocacy goes beyond the exam room; he has been a steadfast supporter of my safety in the workplace, proving he doesn't take these matters lightly. He deeply understands the mental health layer of care, recognizing how the state of our nervous system affects our recovery. By protecting the clinic’s atmosphere, he ensures patients are in the right headspace to seek support. If you want a doctor who protects your safety as much as your health, I cannot recommend Doctor Kodsi enough.”Read moreShow less

“I have been a patient here for a couple of years. The review is for the clinic as my doctor, Dr. Woo, is great. He is attentive, compassionate and I never felt rushed or dismissed. I would recommend him as a doctor but would not necessarily recommend the clinic. Yes, it is virtually impossible to reach the clinic by phone. You have to use the chat box. Most of the time, I received a response within a day or two, once it was even within a few minutes! When I was pregnant, my doctor told me to send an urgent email request to get scheduled within a couple of days of when my delivery would be. The hospital stressed it was important my baby sees the doctor within a day or two of discharge. My husband ultimately had to go in person to schedule an appointment. They apologized for missing/not getting to my email and follow up email. This whole no-phone/chat system... Is fine. Tolerable. It is still a lower level form of communication and while the online booking system works for most times, it would be great to actually reach someone other times. For example, to follow up on an urgent email that was not seen/missed. Generally, all my interactions with the staff have been polite. I did not experience any rudeness. There was some oversight by the nurses/staff (i.e. I did not get the yellow vaccination booklet for my child until requested) but it's minor. Maybe it was my responsibility to ask for it. I don't know. First time parent, just would've been nice to know this booklet existed. My main issue with the clinic is the difficulty to get appointments with my doctor. I just had to schedule one that is a month out! I see on the site he is still accepting new patients and I don't know if it's the clinic pushing him to do this as he seems busy as it is. With the long wait times for specialist care, it is just too difficult to wait about one month to get seen by your family doctor. I would say last year at this time, the earliest slot I would get would be two weeks out so the timing has been increasing steadily. If it's a cold or whatnot, a different temporary doctor at the clinic is fine but if you have more intricate health concerns more appropriate for your personal family doctor with whom you've formed a relationship who knows your medical history, it is far too difficult to rely on the clinic for such care at this time.”Read moreShow less
