About the clinic
Happy Summer :) The office will be closed from Sept 16 - 21, as I will be away in Winnipeg visiting my oldest daughter Erica for an extended long weekend. I will be back in the office Tuesday Sept 22
Starting the 23 of September 2026 I will be offering acupuncture appointments out of a second location- Junction Rehabilitation in Washago- alternating Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
*When booking online choose which location you would like to be seen at. (You’re welcome to hop back and forth between locations whenever another date, or appointment time works better for you. I look forward to seeing you at whichever location is most convenient )

“I visited Carolyn some months ago. I have some shoulder issues due to past training injuries and a recent bicycle tumble. She performed the ‘cupping’ technique on my shoulder and area. Carolyn was very good at asking me questions during the treatment to best guide her along the way. It was my first experience with this. Carolyn’s treatment worked wonders. I noticed results very quickly. My shoulder pain lessened noticeably and my mobility increased dramatically. Over the next few days, my mobility continued to increase as did the number and types of stretches / exercises I could do. The next time I am in town, I plan on trying Carolyn’s acupuncture treatment. Until then, I’ll continue to enjoy the benefits of Carolyn’s knowledge, focus, care and results! Thank you, Carolyn!... I had the pleasure of being able to visit Carolyn again for a subsequent treatment quite recently. This time I was able to experience the acupuncture side of things. Her office in Orillia, Ontario, is spacious and comforting, well lit and the soft music provides a welcoming and calming environment. Carolyn was very good at providing me with the background of acupuncture and taking much of the mystery out of it for me. Once again she asked questions to guide her in finding accurate positioning for the acupuncture needles. I barely felt the needles enter and even then it was more of a sensation than a pain, as they are so tiny. After just a few minutes I felt a significant positive release in my shoulder and a more pain-free mobility range. She followed this up with the cupping technique I had experienced earlier in the year, this time with smaller cups. After describing where I felt the pain, and the corresponding adjustment and positioning of the cups by Carolyn, I felt more release in my shoulder and yet again an increase in pain-free mobility and range of motion. The end of the session had me lay still on the very comfortable table while more needles were placed in strategic points around my body and head. I was asked to now just close my eyes and relax for a few minutes and she left me to the sounds and the comfort of the room. The 8 or so needles were then removed and I was good to go. I felt both relaxed and great. My shoulder, the pain, range of motion and mobility had been significantly altered. “I met Carolyn by chance or should I say fate. I had an extreme case of vertigo and decided to try acupuncture. This was my first experience with acupuncture and I was extremely nervous. Carolyn explained everything she was doing and calmed my nerves. She answered all my questions and was so understanding and took time to listen to my health problems. “My first experience with acupuncture and it couldn’t have been more positive. Carolyn started with a very thorough assessment. And each subsequent appointment started with a thorough assessment of the previous treatment. Carolyn listened carefully and adjusted accordingly. She made me feel very safe and comfortable. I had very sore and weak shoulder muscles and limited range of motion post chemo. Within three treatments my pain was reduced significantly and range of motion was back to normal! I couldn’t believe the amazing progress in such a short time. More surgery will be required and I will not hesitate to return for follow up and maintenance treatment by Carol.
