“I started this therapy a few months ago. After my first meeting I was a bit skeptical about it. After my first sessions of EMDR I was amazed. Although it was very emotional during the session I couldn’t believe how differently I felt about the trauma that was treated. I have since had many sessions dealing with different trauma in my life. Each time there was a sense of calmness when I thought about them. The EMDR along with the calming nature of Maribel have helped me move on from a lot other way I used to think and feel about these situations. I would highly recommend trying this if you have tried everything else and it didn’t work. Maribel offers a safe space in which I never felt judged and could easily open up.”Read moreShow less

“I have been a constant client of Maribel for 18 months. Finding an honest and competent therapist was a challenge for me. In my city, there are a lot of therapists, but most of them are more concerned with the fees rather than really helping their patients. Maribel is one of the most skilled and ethical psychotherapists in the city, and maybe in all of Ontario. You can count on her to work with you exactly the way you need her to. She is very skilled in EMDR, which makes her very special. I now consider Maribel to be my life coach because she has changed my life for the better.
