“If you’re looking for a dietician who genuinely cares and gets results, book an appointment with Jumanah. I went to her at a time when I honestly thought nothing could help. Now i see that connecting with her is one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself. I've been seeing her for 6 months, and even this far in she still has a wealth of tips that address very specific challenges I face. Jumanah doesn't just focus on diet, she gets to the reasons behind unhealthy habits and helps me build a better relationship with food without expecting me to give up my social life or engagements. She tailors the plan to my lifestyle, including my constant travel, and suggests activities and recipes when the time is right. She also helps with the bigger picture like issues related to bone density or thyroid. She is always ready with recipes, smart alternatives, and practical ways to manage cravings. She is great at recommending supplements and explaining how they work and why they work for me specifically. I leave our appointments knowing exactly what to do, and even where to shop for items I’m implementing in my diet. I love her approach because it’s educational. It helps me understand the science behind weight loss. It’s not just about what I eat but how food impacts the body overall. The BEST part is the zero judgment. I feel so supported by her. She doesn’t allow negative talk. Instead, she builds my confidence in continuing on a long weight loss journey. We set realistic expectations and take it step by step. I can't thank her enough, and I couldn't recommend her more highly.”

“From the moment I met Dr. Al-Ameer over 9 years ago, she has always greeted me like I was part of her family! She’s very friendly, very happy and very professional all at the same time - and in today’s health care climate, that’s very rare… but so is Dr. Al-Amere. From the time I walk in to her beautiful clinic until the time I leave, everyone there always makes me feel special, seen and particularly heard. So much so, I have my entire family under her care. So if you’re looking for a new health care clinic, I would highly recommend getting in touch with Maple Grove Medical and ask for either Dr. Al-Ameer or Dr. Kelly - both fantastic people as well as doctors.”

“The reality that I've seen a lot of doctors and dealt with countless medical staff over my lifetime means that I can say with certainty that Dr.Al-Ameer, and her team, are in a league all their own. I first met the incomparable Dr. Al-Ameer at a different clinic, and I can honestly say that upon meeting her it was clear that she was the kindest person I'd ever met. I say WAS only because that changed with the addition of every single member of her team at Maple Grove. Each member of the team is special, and all of them show care, concern and kindness to those blessed to receive care at Maple Grove. Sumaiya and Joyce on the front desk never fail to find space for me in the schedule when I or one of my family members needs care; they always have a smile and a joyful hello to make me feel welcome when I arrive. Dr. Kelly, whose whole personality exudes grace and peace, astounds me with her medical knowledge and the thoroughness with which she conducts exams. Then there's Maple Grove's miracle worker nutritionist, Jumanah who, nearly overnight, resolved the severe acid reflux I'd been suffering with for years with nothing more than baking soda, a supplement, and dietary changes. She has helped me lose more weight than I ever imagined possible! Of course, then there's Dr. Al-Ameer herself. She is the first doctor I've ever encountered who actually listened to me, took me seriously, and showed genuine concern and empathy for me. It was clear to me from our first meeting that she did so, not just because I am her patient but, simply because I am a human being, and to her that alone warrants respect and kindness. She has been with me through the darkest days of my life, and it's because of her care, concern, and the authenticity she exudes in every interaction, that I have been able to face life's hardest challenges and persevere.
