“I had a great experience at Makewell Clinic yesterday. I saw Matilde, the osteopath, and was very impressed by her knowledge, professionalism, and expertise. She took the time to understand my concerns and provided treatment that brought me noticeable relief. Having received various therapies and massage treatments over the years, I can usually tell when a practitioner is truly skilled, and Matilde definitely is. The clinic has a peaceful atmosphere, and the staff are warm and welcoming. I highly recommend Matilde and the team at Makewell Clinic.”Read moreShow less

“I have been very happy with the service I have received ever since my 1st visit. I was welcomed & treated with dignity & respect each visit. I learned a lot about my own body from simple explanations, diagrams & discussions. I always knew ahead what the charges would be so there were no unpleasant surprises. Receptionists were delightful - friendly, welcoming, courteous & professional. The physiotherapist was Sandra, & I would highly recommend her for helping with your pelvic floor problem.”Read moreShow less

“I am so happy to have discovered Makewell! I have seen several practitioners and can say that each and every one of them had a positive impact on me throughout my pregnancy. I recently saw Sarah for Accupuncture as I was dealing with significant sciatica pain throughout my third trimester. Sarah was so kind and knowledgeable, and was very thorough throughout the initial assessment. The pain that I had been dealing with for months was essentially cleared after one session, and I noticed the improvement as soon as I stepped off of the table. I highly recommend Sarah and wish that I had of seen her sooner!”Read moreShow less

“How do I even begin? Makewell was the one-stop wellness shop that I didn't know I needed. What an amazing place for pregnancy and postpartum. I am currently 8 weeks PP and I've been going here since I was 18 weeks pregnant. I was referred here by a client of mine to see Sandra, and I didn't realize she was the owner until my 6-week PP assessment a couple weeks ago. She is so humble and down to earth for what she has built here. I have seen Sandra for Pelvic Floor PT and labor prep, Sarah for acupuncture for sciatica, neck/shoulder tension, and cervical ripening, Matilde for osteo support for my tight AF hips and neck, Nicole the IBCLC for breastfeeding and pumping support, and am now seeing Melissa for therapy for PPD/anxiety. The amount of time and care I have received from all of these women is completely unmatched. I have never felt so supported as a woman in the health space, and I wish all pregnant and postpartum women could have access to care like this. The only services I haven't, yet, utilized from their office are their massage therapists, their movement classes, and the Naturopath, all of which I truly wish I could've squeezed in. But there's always time for that postpartum, especially the Naturopath. PP hormone levels, thyroid function, nutrition, mood, energy, sleep... she could honestly help with all of it. She is absolutely on my list for the coming months.”Read moreShow less

“I’ve been followed for the first time by Sandra for my third pregnancy, and my biggest regret is not having done it with my other two. What an amazing experience being followed by her - which led to having the best birthing experience. She thought me so much to prepare for labour, advocate for myself and to have the smoothest recovery. For the first time, I didn’t tear at all! I just did my postpartum visit, and she was able to help me with my engorged ducts. The clinic is beautiful and all the staff is so nice and friendly. I always had to take the kids with me to the sessions and everyone was always so helpful. I totally recommend Makewell to everyone pregnant or postpartum, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you again Sandra for everything you have done, thank you for giving me the tools to have the best labour I could ask for.”Read moreShow less

“I truly can’t say enough about Sandra. I’ve been seeing her since 2018, starting with pediatric physio for my daughter, and I’ve followed her from Toronto to Oakville for pelvic floor care. She’s supported me through endometriosis, another pregnancy/postpartum and now again with my son. Sandra is incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and exceptional at what she does. She also runs a beautiful clinic and is deeply committed to women’s health, always going above and beyond.”Read moreShow less

“I attended a prenatal class at Makewell and learned so many practical points about preparing for labour. Sandra Ghaly is a fantastic instructor. She is very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and professional. She led an excellent session and we were given a booklet to keep summarizing the information covered. She went above and beyond to email us extra resources that we wanted to learn more about. This class was followed by a prenatal yoga session that was a healthy challenge. Overall, an amazing team and amazing work done at Makewell.”Read moreShow less
