“I’ve been to a few therapists over the years, but this experience was different. Lisa Pereversoffe really got me. I’m someone who has done a lot of reflecting over the years, and I’ve also found myself in the roles of an Addictions Counsellor and Teacher Therapist for others many times. So it’s not always easy to give me something I haven’t already thought about. She did. She gave me genuine food for thought and introduced me to two different ideas/concepts that I had never even considered before. That really stood out to me. I didn’t leave feeling like I had simply talked for an hour—I left thinking. I found myself reflecting on things afterward and looking at certain parts of my life from a perspective I hadn’t had before. What I appreciated most was that I felt understood. She seemed to recognize who I am as a person and met me there, rather than trying to fit me into a box or give me generic advice. When you’ve seen a few therapists over the years, you know when you find someone who brings something different to the table. She did that for me, and I’m genuinely grateful I found her. Thank you 😊”
