“I’ve been a patient at Lacombe Physio for over a year. The staff are a lovely bunch of people. I have regular massages from Josie. I’ve had multiple massage therapists in the past. Josie is one of the best I’ve had in a long time. She is a professional and caring person who likes to update herself on different methods. Her strength in her treatments is amazing. “I want to thank Nikki Ubels. She is a terrific physiotherapist. I had two issues to work on, my leg and my elbow. Nikki explained what she was doing as she worked, and really listened to my feedback about my pain and mobility. She gave me very effective stretches and exercises to do. “Jennifer Wiebe is amazing at her job. I was holding off on getting any type of massage done because I have severe planters fasciitis in my feet plus rheumatoid arthritis in my feet and ankles. “I am a stage 4 brain cancer survivor. I was basically a dead man walking back in February 2015. The incredible team there regardless of my 14 month survival expectancy never looked at me or treated me as a lost cause. I showed up for whatever I was going to be told I needed to do to beat the odds as I had a 2 and a half year old girl at the time and was a resident of Lacombe. I was pushed so hard by the professionals that I gained so much strength and resilience to prepare me for the remaining five years of my cancer journey. I am now two years cancer free still using the tools and exercises that they gave me.
