“The studio offers excellent customer service, impeccable cleanliness, and an impressive, comfortable structure. They also provide teas and other thoughtful amenities, which creates a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive. That said, the hot yoga concept may not be ideal for everyone. The room is genuinely very hot, which can feel quite uncomfortable depending on personal preference — that was my experience. Classes also tend to be very full, making the space feel tight and limiting the possibility of more individualized attention from the instructor. The intermediate-level class is understandably more demanding, but at times the teacher seemed unable to maintain a smooth and harmonious flow throughout the session. Because of the crowded and very warm environment, it was also difficult to fully enjoy the final relaxation portion of the class. Personally, it is definitely a no for me, especially because my main goal is mental well-being and relaxation, and this environment did not support that in the way I was hoping for. Overall, it is a beautiful and well-managed studio with strong amenities, but the experience may depend a lot on how comfortable you are with intense heat and crowded classes.”

“I moved last year to the area and was so happy to have an Idolem studio so close. The Plaza studio is beautiful and all the classes that I attended so far were amazing. On top of that, the staff is great! I had an issue with my pass, and it was solved so quickly. Super recommend the Plaza Idolem studio!!”

“The place is well set up. The salon smells like feet upon entering but you get used to it. Also, just a heads up to fellow anglophones - it’s a French-run business so if you’re new to yoga and not confident in French, it might be challenging to follow.”

“I’ve been attending classes at Idolem Plaza for the past year, and every time I enter the studio I immediately feel my mood improve. The staff is welcoming, the teachers are kind and competent, and the owners clearly care about client well being. Every time I bring a friend to this studio they rave about how good of an experience it is. I highly recommend Idolem Plaza.”

“Amazing hot yoga studio. The classes are unique and the staff is very friendly. It’s newly renovated and always very clean!! If you want to be challenged try their Pilates classes!! Eve will literally slay u, her classes are sooo challenging. Also love the yin classes, helps my anxiety a lot. I’ve been to many studios in my life and this is by far my favourite!!”

“This is an extraordinarily nice hot yoga studio. It's big and very recently fitted out to a high level, I think quite unique for Montreal. The staff are super friendly and fully bilingual (although most of the classes are in French (or both).. ..it's fine, 'monte ton pied droit' is about all you need, and if not then listen to the sanskrit or copy the guy in front of you). I have to admit that I first went for the hard core abs-burning yoga classes but I now look forward to the funky-flow and the nidra. It's possible that I am finally chilling out. Don't forget a towel to go on your mat, another for the shower and a massive bottle of water!”
