“We have had couple counselling with Mandy Fang for a couple years now. Mandy has helped us to see our issues from each other's perspective and communicate our needs with each other. She is incredibly capable and has saved our marriage many times. We are truly grateful. John and Yan”Read moreShow less

“After five sessions, I’ve learned some truly valuable lessons. Mandy has been incredibly patient, taking the time to listen to my story and understand my challenges. I’ve struggled with anger and frustration for a long time, and Mandy helped me uncover hidden emotional wounds from my past. I didn’t even realize I was dealing with PTSD until now. Through her guidance, I’ve learned techniques to self-reflect and confront fears that have haunted me for decades. While I haven’t fully overcome all my doubts and anxieties yet, the progress I’ve made in just a few weeks is remarkable. Thank you, Mandy, for everything you’ve done.”Read moreShow less

“Five+ star! I have been on an extremely challenging fertility journey for the past nine years, and I have been seeing Mandy for over two of them. In every session, I feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported. Mandy is an exceptionally skilled, capable, and compassionate psychotherapist — truly one of the most dedicated professionals I have ever worked with. Her guidance has helped me navigate some of the most emotionally complex moments of my life with clarity and strength. Her admin, Lucia, is also wonderfully professional and consistently responsive. Together, they are absolutely incredible. I am deeply grateful for everything they have done for me.”Read moreShow less

“Hopewood Psychotherapy is truly remarkable, providing exceptional care and support when I needed them most. I experienced two losses within three months — the preterm birth of my son at 22 weeks and the passing of my father from advanced dementia. During the darkest period of my life, Mandy was the one who guided me through with incredible compassion, insight, and professionalism. She is an extraordinarily skilled and empathetic counsellor who helped me begin to find hope and joy again. Her administrative assistant, Lucia, is equally wonderful — consistently professional, efficient, and responsive. I always received timely, thoughtful communication and support.”Read moreShow less

“More than 5*s! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Elden Leung helped me find peace I didn’t think was possible. If you’re in pain, searching for answers, do try out psychotherapy — it's a big world to discover! Here’s what I’ve learned. I’ve worked with over five long-term therapists and many more crisis-line professionals since my own trauma began in childhood and teenage years. Some helped a bit. Some didn’t fit at all. But Elden? He helped me transform. From the very beginning, I could tell he was different — warm, creative, deeply human, and also extremely practical. His approach is grounded in EFT and IFS, but more than that, it’s grounded in real care. He helped me slow down and truly process the patterns rooted in my past. Not just intellectually — but emotionally, in my body, where trauma really lives. Now close to 40, I’ve lived long enough to know what doesn’t work. And for years, I struggled to find a therapist who truly understood my experience — especially around inattentive parents who were always working, or the strictness and emotional tone of Chinese parenting. I speak Cantonese and Mandarin, and many non–culturally aware therapists assumed I was “talking too fast” — but they simply didn’t understand the rhythm or emotion of the language. Elden got it. He listened without assumptions. And that made a huge difference. He’s not just any therapist — Elden is also the clinical director of his psychotherapy clinic, chosen to lead and mentor among fellow professionals. That means he carries a lot of responsibility and wears many hats. As a dentist and fellow healthcare professional, I understand how invisible that weight can be. So when someone like him still shows up with humility, warmth, and attentiveness — that speaks volumes. That’s why I felt moved to write this, even though he never asked. One of the most ingenious and freeing tools he introduced me to was sandplay therapy — a surprisingly powerful way to express and unload the stories hidden in the brain, body, and heart. He also shared Zentangle/Zendoodle with me — creative practices that helped me reconnect with play, curiosity, and the joy of non-perfectionistic art. So much healing came through in unexpected ways. In my experience, Elden never rushed me or told me to forgive anyone. He gave me space to feel, protect myself, and grieve. Over time, at my own pace, I chose to explore what forgiveness meant to me — as a way to release what I’d carried for so long. That didn’t come from pressure. That came from healing. I’ve seen some 1-star reviews, which I read on my own — not because Elden mentioned them. As a clinician myself, I always read everything from 5-star to 1-star, and honestly, it’s heartbreaking how often those reviews reflect misplaced expectations: “The WiFi didn’t work.” “The forms were too long.” Or misunderstandings like: “He didn’t lecture my child for playing video games.” But real therapy isn’t about scolding or instant fixes. It’s about drawing out what lies beneath — the longings, the fears, the coping mechanisms that once protected us. Elden explained that EFT is like repairing old roads from the past. It’s not fast or pretty — but it works. The truth is, pain lives deep — in the teeth, the bones, the blood, the guts, and the heart. It carries years of invisible struggle. Healing isn’t about perfection. It’s about being witnessed, being realistic, and being willing to grow. You don’t need to take my word for it. Just know that this kind of care exists. And if you’re ready — it’s worth it. Thank you, Elden, for walking alongside me. For helping me find a kind of deep inner peace I hadn’t felt in years.”Read moreShow less
