“After years of trying to find somebody to look beyond my m.s. diagnosis and believe that there was hope for my walking and problems with my right leg, I was referred to Charlene. Like me, Charlene is a strong believer in neuroplasticity...the power of the brain. She was able to look at my circumstance, marry her incredible understanding of how the body works, both physically and neurogically and come up with "treatments" specifically for my body. By following her exercises along with her muscle manipulations, I saw incredible improvements within a week, and even more incredible improvements over three visits. Charlene has given me hope.”Read moreShow less

“Charlene has been amazing help with recorrecting my posture. She’s very gentle, respectful, and kind when helping me adjust my technique. Her new workspace is beautiful, well maintained, and clean with lots of specialized equipment. My posture has gotten way better and I no longer have any lower back pains. Pilates with her has been both rewarding and challenging as I always leave with jelly for legs!”Read moreShow less

“I have been receiving care from physiotherapist Charlene Dornan since May 2023. She was referred to me because she has a specialty in working with clients with neurological conditions. At the time I needed a physio for a tennis injury. Parkinson’s was having very little impact on my quality of life. Then something happened in early 2024 that turned my life upside down. My Parkinson’s went wild, medication was not working as it should and honestly, I don’t know how I would have made it through the past year without Charlene. She has been my physiotherapist, an advocate, a researcher and a professional, genuinely committed to her client. She has encouraged me, checked in on me between appointments, and so much more. Her in-depth knowledge of the body, how it functions, and how she can pinpoint the areas that need to be worked on is beyond impressive. I am making good progress. It is still a mystery what happened to me but I am confident that with Charlene’s holistic and determined approach I will continue to improve. I have no hesitation giving Charlene 5 stars in all aspects of her care, especially if you are looking for a neuro-physiotherapist. She is amazing!”Read moreShow less

“Charlene is an INCREDIBLE resource and point of care. She is knowledgeable, kind, patient, realistic, and made me feel genuinely taken care of and safe during my appointment. I had a weird experience at a different physio that made be feel sheepish and silly, like my problem wasn’t quite “bad” enough to warrant therapy, and Charlene totally turned that experience around and made sure I felt not only completely justified, but empowered in wanting to address it. Thanks so much!”Read moreShow less
